I have smoked catnip and tobacco in the past. I did get an effect off of it. It was pretty mild though. It seems that the constituents in catnip interact with the nicotine. At some point I want to make a catnip extract to try that. That worked well with skullcap. I didn't get anything from smoking just the dry skullcap. Once I made an extract and smoked that, I was amazed at how strong it was.

it works in the same way that if you fish bowled a sauna, the THC would absorb into your skin and make you high. if you dont actually understand the physiology behind it, dont claim you know whats going on XD

pipe tobacco is smoked for the taste and aroma and for relaxation, its quite enjoyable actually, and i cant even stand near someone who smokes a cig.

@dogcrap1994 - Pipes were the way that tobacco was smoked before we started mass-producing cigars and cigarettes. In fact most pipe tobacco actually has a pleasant taste and is soothing. Nearly everyone I have met only smoked cigarettes because they got hooked on the nicotine.
