I downloaded Chrono Trigger for the virtual console just recently. It's by far one of the best RPG's I've played. It's innovative for its time, and holds up strong even today. It's not just a good game for its time, it's a formidable game, period.

@yaminowa Easily one of the best rpgs ever made my friend. I'm almost 30. When you see old gamers like us wonder where the good games have gone, is because games like Chrono Trigger were being played by us when we were 12-14 and now we're like... where are the good games? Isn't the future supposed to bring bigger and better things? But we get stuff like Final Fantasy XIII~ which are supposed to be better... yet are just linear cinematic after cinematic. I miss what gaming used to be.

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 FFVI would be another great buy! As just mentioned the 2d 16bit games age very well and are still very playable. Unlike first generation 3d games.

It isn't bad it just sounds messy to me early on and it could be so much better if it were cleaner. But always a big fan of Piano mixs.
