  • best rapper alive here i dont care what people say about dying ass wayne

  • i'm reading a lotta good comments everybody explaining what they gets from Jay-Hova's lyrics and music.

I personally like the baseball metaphors.

"we need a place to pitch we need a mound."

"or like tony la russa it's how you play your cards" (the manager determines who plays... the st. louis cardinals.)

    Jigga on anotha level.

  • i wish u insight so u can see for urself

  • heading to the heights were big coke is processed lmao at tht

  • Tony Royster back there on them drums. Jay-Z is the only artist who sounds the same whether Live or in the Studio. Jay is Hip Hop.

  • But for now I'm just a lazy boy

    Day dreamin in my la-Z-boy

  • jay is one the best to do it

  • Jay-Z is just the coldest MC in the game. He's so personal and deep. You can feel his words and he's not just a Rapper. Believe this: Your favorite MC wants to be where Jay is. Only a few MC's have reached his status. I'm glad he never went into movies and tried to be Hollywood. They say now Lil Wayne is the hottest MC in the game...I don't believe that. He's hot. But he's JUST A RAPPER. That's all, nothing more. Jay-Z is the COMPLETE package.

  • No ONE, has reached what jay-z has reached in Rap...

  • @d1inonly

Jay and Nas> the two illest of all time!!

  • @d1inonly its funny you say that because that's what Wayne calls himself. The best Rapper alive.

  • Damnnnnmmmnnnnn!!!!!! Jigga went off for this song and album!!!!

  • I also know that drought is when there is no rain or water

    lol,at your dumb ass

that line went right over your head, you thought he was being literally talking about a drought, like there is no rain or water

step your street slang up faggot

  • beautiful. i wish they would release this as a cd. mtv unplugged was a great acoustic album as well.

  • man jay-z is hard azz hell i mean no one can touch him

  • someone explain to me the drowt bit

  • aye drought,in drug terms,is when there is no drugs, either because the cop had a big bust and took all the drugs, and there is no drugs on the street to buy or sell

  • Wow youre a real genius...He means how to decipher the phraes "survive the drought" "i wish you well" its a play on words with drought has no water and a well is a source of water...a drought btw is not only in drug terms, youre such a gannnnsstttteeerr, its a lack or dearth of any product or commodity. Get an education.

  • how was it dumb, jay was rapping about dope through the whole song

I can tell you don't have a clue on what your talking about

I know what a fucking drought is,I know what the fuck a well is

but he was using a drug metaphor,a drought is when there is no drugs on the street

when you hear people say its a weed drought, that means its hard to come by

fucking idiot, step your game up when you try to clown on someone

  • so deep...

  • Jay was indirectly thru this song praying 4 your success in life to feel it but acheive like he has. check his body language to see ''I can't stand myself''

Bless you Jay & also honouring the badest boy today Tony Royster Jr. See him back stage smashing the Drum. Indeed an American dream, search Tony Royster jr Interview

  • As an African there is so much meaning to this song other than just lyrics but it takes deep thinking to understand why & how Jay was expressing himself from this song. Let me break it down a little

1- When someone starts wishing you well, wealth, wills, to survive the draught, he is infinitely praying for your success in life hoping that God will intercede on your behalf to create a change in your circumstances no matter what you may be going thru.

  • I love the part when he says Cant stand myself..crazyy

  • cant stand myself

  • i never realised how much thought jay-z put into this album untill he just explained

it just made me like it soo much better haha

  • yo like you gotta love jay!!

  • they should really put this on cd or at least download at amazon or itunes for a limited time

  • Jay wouldn't let them. He doesn't want people buying the individual tracks...only the full album and Itunes wouldn't agree to that.

  • "step 1 in dis process scramble up in ur projects, then head 2 da heist wer big coke is processes u gotta convince him dat ur not from the precincts (cops) cos he speakin slow an he no speak no english" ill datz a hustlers story

  • um, he's headed the the heights as in Washington Heights (upper Manhattan) where the Dominicans process cocaine. Just so you know

  • they shuld make an album of this whole show

  • LEGEND...ONE WORD SUMS IT UP

  • live band, intuivite lyrics, great crowd an scene...shit is the hottest
