@shrini76 well the realtek web site, i think if you get the new version ot should have it, i don't think there should be a difference and if it doesn't work, you should a voice recording program like: audacity and record your sound separated.

No no what is my problem is in the sound manager when i go to mixer,there i can see only playback volume,but below that there is no record.Is this due to msi motherboard?And due to the absence of record,microphone creates more noise.I mean background noise.So any solution for that?

@shrini76 the background noise comes from the quality of your microphone and there is a possibility that the motherboard configuration can be the cause. You can edit the noise out with the program your using, if there is no way out.

@shrini76 hello, the thing you should do is go the volume icon on the task bar and open the windows default volume mixer you should find the mic volume there

Do you know about the environments? I have a Benq laptop and Windows Xp, i tried to make control the environments and it doesn't sound well, the codec audio i got is ALC272.

hey man.. i got a little problem hope you can help.. i have asus p5qld pro motherboard.. normally i record games with fraps.. but some games im playing with my friends so i want to use stereo.. now when i use stereo i can not hear my self.. i turned high the mic.. by doing that there so much stistic in sound when recording can you plz suggest what i can do.. bcaz this problem is really annyoing me for months
