  • Holy Man of God-Annointed man of God. Preach Pastor Curtis. Please come to NC. Break down false profits and hypocrites in these dead churches....

  • Edwinslater, what was the last sermon that you preached? Be careful how you judge others (Matt. 7:7). And remember that we are not to "touch" God's anointed (I Chronicles 16:22). Many times we "touch" God's anointed with our sharp criticism and lack of prayer for the men and women who grace the pulpits across our nation. I would say that Dr. Curtis is a gift to the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:11) and we should receive him as such. Saints, never confusion style for substance. Dr. Curtis is anointed!

  • he does NOT preach with is eyes closed.

i've been going to the church for over 5 years now. he is amazing. & yes i am the same person who commented under my friend karmaclassic's name

  • First of all, Dr. Curtis does not PREACH with his eyes closed. I've been attending this church for almost 18 years. Almost 11 with Dr. Curtis. I like the fact that he has his sermons written out, because when you don't, you start to ramble on. I've been to many sermons where the preacher rambles because he is reading simply from the Bible. The fact that he takes the time to analyze the text is great. And he doesnt ramble. And again his eyes aren't closed. Your talking to a member of the Church.

  • I am not sure if this preacher is actually reading but my pastor has told me that he is not reading but preaches with his eyes closed as the congregation can be very distracting at times. My pastor only brings post it notes to hit key points so we can't say he is reading a sermon. I doubt your father and uncle would tell a man with such a good message to sit down. Atleast I hope they are more soncerned with the Word than what it looks like the preacher is doing. Stay Blessed!!

  • your opinion is respected bout how he preaches but you cant insult him becuz he doesnt preach the way your daddy && granddaddy do. they`re all different and have different styles. our over 9000 congregation is not complaining and neither should YOU. GOd Bless

  • I agree there are different styles for people to receive. Thank goodness everyone is not the same.

  • thank you. :D as long as he is getting the word across he is good, even if he does it with his eyes closed.

  • edwinslater i`m on my friends account writing this. so its not her. BUT does it matter how he preaches? i`ve been attending mt ararat for 7 years [no thats not the church he is at in this video] but i am telling u honestly if you hear him preach you will be changed. he IS one of the BIGGEST pastors of our time. real talk. && yes he does make eye contact ALOT. i go to the church i will know.

  • Who do preachers learn that sermons are received better when they are preached and not read!!

  • Are you serious? This is one of the foremost preachers of this generation. His sermons are VERY well received by thousands. This sermon IS PREACHED!

  • Sorry, I don't know what school he's from but sermons are just like speeches-they are better received when there is eye contact with the audience. My father, and uncle are both preachers and they would tell this guy to sit down. He is literally preaching to a piece of paper. He's a pastor? I would hope a pastor would be able to make eye contact, and turn that novel on that paper into real life "look u in the face" type teaching or preaching. I tell u some people preach jus to have "beautiful feet"

  • There is not a need to vote with a thumb down to your comment. At the end of the day you are entitled to it. What I would ask is that you try to be open and notice that yes he does look at the paper to read his notes but I can assure you that Dr. Curtis has the word of God hid deep in his heart he really does not need the paper!!!

  • I will be the first to leave a comment. This is my mentor in the ministry and whenever you have a chance to hear him preach the gospel dont miss it. Be Blessed
