When I first saw this anime in pictures while searching for a futuristic banner I immediately thought it would be cool. I then watched it and it was immediately my favorite anime of all time! I saw the anime and then thought phantom of the opera by Nightwish when I saw ergo proxies' mask and real mayer, then the relationship between them 'aka' chemistry of Vincent and Real. I thought for a closing you could have put Gothminister's 'Angel' from their album 'Gothic Electronica Anthems'.

Soulmate! (Lol I don't belive in that thing but anyways) I heard Phantom Of the Opera first time last Fall... I really liked the song, so I watched like 3 different versions from the movie throughout 20th century. And Nightwish version is even better. This ain't asskissing or anything but definitely my fav song along with To Zanarkand. Both are absolute favorite's. To Zanarkand changed life, Phantom of The Opera made it even better :D

This one was very nice too. Phantom of the Opera has always been my favourite musical, I heard it the first time when I was still a baby..

But I must say that I prefer the version with Sarah Brightman. The song was, after all, written especially for her voice. And I've never liked Tarja Turunen that much, either. I think Nightwish is better with Anette.

But yeah, enough rambling about the song. The video itself was really good and it fit the music. Definite +favourite.

Yeah, Tarja's voice really is an acquired taste. XDDD Sarah Brightman has never impressed me very much, but you ARE right about the song being built for her. This version just has really kickass music, I actually had the idea myself of a rock/metal version of Phantom of the Opera, when Nightwish did it I felt robbed XDDD
