OK, the sound is cool and peculiar. I've never heard this sort of "combination" before and IMO it worked fine.
But it's important to notice that the sound played on this video is NOT Samba: it's Drum and Bass made with the instruments that we (brazilians) use to play Samba. But the use of Samba instruments doesn't make it a Samba song.
