Utah is a beautiful place. Zion National Park is the closest place to heaven on earth that I've been. Stayed 3 days in Montecello while turing Canyonlands, Arches Mesa Verda. Some how I missed the Hole in The Rock. Great food at the Moab Brewery and in Cortez @ an Italian Rest in town
Come to think of it, there were feral camels wandering around in the desert southwest from earlier exploration days, (like the burro) but not sure if they are still out there.
My first night out on my own I slept in Monticello ,Utah. Temperature was minus 10 degrees. I will never forget that night. As soon as I stepped out of the truck my face became numb. After I woke up it took me two days to get to Jackson, Ms. Yeah i cheated a little on my log so I could get home.
Made the trip up 191 headed to Portland, or. from Laredoback in 92. That's a nice ride. Brings back alot of good memories. Old indian flipped me off going through Blanding that time. I still laugh about that shit. have a good one driver. Be careful!!
