  • Tonight has been the first night I’ve had my brother’s dog whilst he’s on holiday.

I took her out with me on an hour’s hack, walked for yonks over fields and threw the Frisbee for her at the river. She chased three cats, tried catching a few birds flying around the place and tried tackling a lone hedgehog. As I type this at 4am, she’s stood with her tail wagging furiously and her head shoved completely in the TV cabinet listening to what I think is the Sky box.

  • @CharlotteWeb100 So did you survive having your brothers dog? Is your house still in a liveable state I wonder? I beat you are missing the little loony. As I am certain you now know Springer’s have two speeds, out cold and full steam ahead. But be careful they are extremely addictive dogs and if you get hooked. You are condemning yourself to a life lived with hyperdrived pee brained dogs that have to be in the middle of everything. Ho and you will never have clean car windows ever again. :-)

  • @tina6581 Only just clocked your message! Yep, you pretty much summed everything up. I had her for two weeks and was reluctant to hand her back - even with filthy car windows / piano keys. Less than a week later, I made a phone call to my brother asking if I could "borrow" her and that's pretty much been the setup ever since. She stays with me a few days then goes home whilst I recover (Rinse and repeat)

She's completely mental but totally addictive and loads of fun to be with. :)

  • @CharlotteWeb100 Cool glad your having fun mate. :-)
