It doesn't matter if you use aluminum + sodium hydroxide, baking soda + vinegar or hydrogen peroxide + manganese dioxide etc.. in a bottle for the kind of explosive. it's all about the pressure and for how long the bottle can handle that.. it's getting kinda bored really.. but easy to make indeed

hydrochloric acid and aluminum react and form aluminum trichloride, heat and hydrogen gas. heat and hydrogen build up inside the bottle and explode. that is what he used in this video. another thing people use is sodium hydroxide and aluminum. which also react and create hydrogen gas, heat and sodium aluminate. dont do any of this stuff unless you know what you are doing. and the2okay11way, sulfuric acid and lye can not be in the same product, they would neutralize one another

just use the works toilet bowl cleaner beacuase the hydrochloric acid or you can use "instant power" drain cleaner which has lye and sulfiric acid I'm pretty sure. but either way it still reacts the same if not faster. it's just more concentrated.
