What right to life does one living, sentient organism have over another. It would be one thing if people were still living in long-houses and wigwams where they needed to use all of that animal to survive, but we are capable of finding alternative methods to heating, and accomplishing nutrition. Only about 20% of grain farms are used to feed people, the other 80% goes to livestock. It is not a pragmatic system. We could solve world hunger if we could stop animal industries.
You don't know? It depends how faint of heart you are?? Hey missy would you like to be in a cage, hungry and bleeding for days only have someone come and smack your little head? Didn't think so
Of course we can look into every crevasse we make, that what you call making informed decisions. In fact we do that everyday, when you decide what food to have, who to vote for, deciding what musicians and actors we like. I think what you mean simply put lazy ignorant girl to the left is "I just don't care enough" a completely different statement altogether.
@pantelin2 I completely agree with you, and I'm glad I did because I now only buy eggs from local vendors and have cut out meats from my diet for the sole reason that I think it is disgusting and repulsive what they do to those poor living, sentient beings.
why the hell is that bitch in the middle smiling while talking about catching wild animals and killing them? And the second thing- when animals are killed for fur, they are not used for meat! they are killed just for fur! so wake up!
@ANTM55 What they do is that they stab the animal with a knife so that they are slowly bleeding to death, this causes the fur of the animal to rise and look more "beautiful". So it is actually essential that the animals have their fur removed whilst they are still alive. The process of killing animals for meat is even though cruel a lot more humane then that of taking their fur. Just because PETA shows you imagery that you don't find distasteful does not mean it's propaganda. Get educated!
@pantelin2 If you would get yourself educated you would know that your hair wont keep stood on end when you are dead, neither will skining something alive cause its hair to stand on end. What a moron. Dont even know how to reply to you.
1. Animals for food is a necessity, it is EXTREMELY difficult to have a healthy diet without any meat
2. Animals for fur in CURRENT society (where almost everyone has the opportunity to buy materials for warmth) is genuinely sick and twisted.
3. It is very easy to skin animals live, they are clubbed to make them weak/disorientated but not killed while skinning, and left to bleed to death. Unlike factory farming.
but for fur, you can at least understand a bit of its necesitty. fur is TOTALLY, TOTALLY unecessary, I mean we don´t have these cold winters that we have to protect ourselves against the coldness. Nowhere.
One could argue that the meat industry is a necessary evil and that cow leather is a byproduct of this. The fur industry is NOT a necessity; people don't have to rely on fur coats that result for the brutal skinning of 50 minks. Furthermore, this whole "eco" argument for real fur is such BS. Real fur is polluting; think of all the feed, water resources and the pounds of wastes released. What do you think happens to the carcass remains? When was the last time you had a dish of spicy mink?
Real fur is much better for environment than fake fur! Fake fur contains petroleum-based plastics that contribute to the greenhouse effect! I eat meat and I wear fur! And I do not like hypocritical people who eat meat and wear leather telling me wearing fur is immoral. If we go around killing cows for meat and leather, why is wearing fur unethical? As for ethics, I wear fur that has the Origin Assured label. It assures me that my fur comes from a country where they care about animal welfare.
YOU GO GIRLS!!! I absolutly love the real natural thing than the fake synthetic option... it's much warmer too!! And yes, Peta absolutly go too far (and they are a bunch of hypocrites... but that's a whole other subject!)
If we had to combine all three brains into one, the gray matter obtained from these three bitches, would not amount to very much in terms of cognitive abilities.
You stupid, stupid, stupid stupid oriental whore. One animal is killed for food the other one is killed for vanity. Can you not differentiate the two?
I know this is a serious debate. But the girl on the right it very beautiful and quite smart :) VEry good debate!

this middle bitch doesn't know what she's talking about.
1) There are NO FEDERAL REGULATIONS PROTECTING ANIMALS ON FUR FARMS IN NOrth America.
2) Real Fur is not biodegradable because it is treated with chemicals that are not eco friendly.
