a little bit the 7.3 powerstrokes sounded very similar to the lb7's but the 6.0s and the llys and lbzs and lmms sound alot different.

No, not at all. I have two tunes, one for driving around (380ish rwhp) and the other for playing/racing (510ish rwhp). The tune I all of my videos except when mudding is the bigger one.

It was a joint design between GM and Isuzu. However, GM manufactures all of the engines in Ohio.

I think the Mercedes connection you are referring to is with Daimler/Chrysler.

Its a Navistar engine which is International. It is the same engine as the MaxxForce 7 in all ways except the sequential turbos.

Yeah, uh, powerstrokes and duramaxes sound the same, their both diesel V8s, seroiusly, the same exhaust will sound almost the same. And, besdies, powerstrokes were only good when they were 7.3s and used as a work truck.

They won't sound the same due to different displacements and the volume of exhaust. However they do sound more alike than a cummins and either of the two.

The 6.4L should be really close in theory. I haven't had a chance to compare the same exhaust setup on the two yet. I would imagine its as close as a ford 351 and a chevy 350. Similar yet slightly differentiated.
