My problem is simple; the Salvation army is just another group of discriminating religious fanatics! try google: salvation army homosexuality, and go to the first link (to their official homepage), they make it clear that they side with the FAR-right/Christians who believe homosexuality is an abomination!

I used to work for the Salvation Army. Never knew they had a band. I was one of those poor saps standing outside the door of a store all day long ringing a bell. I quit after a few weeks 'cause of so many problems with them.

It all started with the first day when they didn't tell me what time I was supposed to get off work. They put me out at 10:00 in the morning and I was there until 8:00pm that night.

I was supposed to have gotten off work at 5:00pm.

Instead, give your money to Doctors Without Borders (Medicines Sans Frontiers.). A real, genuine and secular charity, who use all of their proceeds to fund doctors, and pay for medication and aid for less fortunate countries in need.

salvation army does much good for the needy...I have choosen them as one organization to donate to and support...also with the government...the red cross...they go into areas where either no one else will or can't..but the united nations gets them in there at times..and when even the government pulls out because of dire situation the red cross perseveres and stays against all odds...thank God for people and organizations who try and help the needy.
