It was Archie Moore fight, 15th of Nov 1962 he first time fought as a heavyweight division boxer of our time grading. As late as 1966 (in Karl Mildenberger fight) he was just 204,25 lbs.

And think about tiny guys like Patterson, Johansson, Ezzard Charles, Wallcot and Marciano against Vitali Klitschko. Much better than Adamek?

Tyson is a legend, not because he lost his big fights in the 90s and 2000s, but because of his style. He was a very small HW with a very short reach, but in the 80s he knocked every big HW out in a spectacular way, look what he did to the undefeated undisputed Michael Spinks, look what he did to Larry Holmes and so oin. Lewis has an identically-sized gash, it just happens to be on the top of the nose, where the blood isn't going to pour as profusely. Even so, his cut man can't keep it shut. The only reason that fight was ruled a "TKO" for Lewis was that a doctor was worried that continued blood loss could cause permanent eye damage, and that he could be blamed.
