@boris3650 This is what i love, the fact that some people believe that its actually really part of the game, while those who actually play and know the Stalker series know that there as never been a PPSH in any of the Vanilla versions
@Alexandervas123 yes that's correct but since it is a Russian gun, technically a Russian game and the fact that eveyone calls a gun by its correct given name that is why I have use PPSH-41 as stated in the Russian language, so I have used Its Correct name like many people have, Have you actually seen anyone use the name PMS?? If so i would like to know (other than google translate)

That's an interesting concept. It has a decent enough effective range to warrant a scope to0. Now imagine it with a GP-25! Or how about a reflex sight instead of a scope? Or how about an M-203, keep the basic iron sights, and have a flip-up ladder sight offset to one side for the M-203. That would be ultrapwnage as a Zone weapon. Also a Saiga with a grenade launcher (M-203 or GP-25, either one).
I'd prefer it to be one or the other rather than both. A Saiga with an M-203 would be great. Also a slot-2 single-shot sawed-off with a big soda can sound suppressor integrally attached. It would have an extractor instead of an ejector so you'd have to take the spent casing out manually, but this would allow you to be quieter. Also, you'd have to manually press 'R' (or whatever the player's preference of key is) to reload so you'd always be in control of how much noise you made.
You know, I bet there is a way to do all of this.
I think you'd just have to have the X, Y, and Z coordinates for the suppressor and change it in the config files. That would be a primitive version of the mod...
How about a short-barrel Tromix version of the Saiga 12 with an integral GP-30 like the OC-14 Groza? The launcher would replace the forearm. The launcher's trigger group would resemble the M-203's and when using the launcher, your support hand would be on the shotgun's magazine. The launcher would be fired with the support hand (like a GP-25 as opposed to the Groza's GP-30 since the Groza has a single trigger with a selector switch). It would have a Groza-style flip-up ladder sight.
The shotgun would have standard Tromix open sights. The launcher's ladder sight would not interfere with the shotgun's sights when the ladder sight is folded.
Other idea: M-203 mounted on Saiga 12C (launcher mount would replace forearm and it could be an integral weapon combo as opposed to being able to mount a standard M-203 on a standard Saiga) seems like the most likely case. The Tromix/GP-30 would fit in slot-2. The Saiga/M-203 would fit in slot-3.
I rmemebre searching the whole town, every corner in every building and the outside, until i found out it was a mod then i was like FFFFFUUUUUUUUCK

It's called PMS in English not PPSH, in Russian, PPSH stands for Pistolet(pistol) Pulemet(Machinegun) SHashkina(Shashkin's)

Nice! Although I wouldn't mount a SUSAT on it personally, something lightweight like a mini-ACOG would be better IMO.

Now I need to try this!

Which of these weapon mod concepts do ye find most intriguing?
*rifle w/modular shotgun
*shotgun w/modular grenade launcher
*M-576 cannister rounds for the M-203
IggyHazard 2 years ago
Hmm....
Probably the Shotgun w/Modular Grenade Launcher.
I mean, the shotgun on a rifle is neat, but the shotgun and 'nade launcher would be a huge punch.

Ahh... that would kill anything in the Zone.
I'll dig into the game files and see if I can get any idea of it ;)

rifle with shotty

I think that would be the most practical. The ideal Zone weapon. Rifle for bad guys. Shotgun for monsters.
