I was actually impressed with how hard it came out of the hold considering the power it made. Can't get much better of a launch than that in a wrong wheel drive car.

Well both cars have a nice setup, (neither car will launch that hard without a drag type suspension). You simply cannot deny that having FWD will always be a disadvantage. It's simple physics. There are some fast drag cars that are FWD, but the FASTEST & QUICKEST are RWD. They are 50 times more consistent on the street and strip.

BTW, that Mustang did a light burnout and left off idle. Had he done a long smokey burnout and stalled it up it would have been disgusting.

Wrong, educate yourself. Launch control on those cars has nothing to do with keeping your wheels from spinning. All the computer is doing is maintaining a preset rpm that it programed into it to optimize full throttle launch. The car is running anti-lag to so that the turbo is spooled from the launch. Don't talk about shit that you don't know about, you just sound stupid. It's an 800whp+ honda. Sorry man but it's a 9 sec. car, deal with it.

IT actually depends on what mustang you are modding because a fox body will be relatively cheap to buy and modd becasue they are the less popular body style... but if you were to get a fast back or a gt then it would cost a ton more than a civic. i have an eg civic and i think it is great... sure it isnt the fastest thing ever but it is a good beginning platform. I respect any car that can go fast because people put alot of time, money, and dedication to get it... whether it be a I4, V8 or V12
