WOW!! A Corsair with the old-style framework canopy and low-profile windscreen. Definitely the only F4U-1 Corsair left. All the others have higher windscreens and Malcolm hoods. THIS is definitely a treasure. Good find!
@SenorSpode That is cool--I was surprised to see the "birdcage" canopy hood still there! It looks like the ditching at sea did a lot of damage--the whole empennage was ripped off, but oddly the wings weren't.
