A good standard hemi CVH puts out 92bhp taking into account when it was made (old tech) and the fact that it was 96PS. The later lean burn engines put out a little less and have the annoying vacuum second choke which is rubbish when it gets worn. The exhaust etc should add a bit but only if the jetting is tweaked to take advantage of it. If your lucky enough to have a cross hatched head and a blueprinted engine you can gets as much as 115bhp from the standard bits. 85bhp was the mk1.

Standard output on a MK2 XR2 should be 96 bhp, with the manifold and the exhaust probably 100 if the engine's still in a good condition!?
