  • I didnt like how he played in the last boss, it satrted to get boring seeing the game lagging, and i couldnt see anything but the bullets and the ikaruga.

  • I think the same. Changing polarities all the time while dodging and shooting is really annoying. It tests not only your reflexes but also your nerves to the extreme

    I disagree. Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou has very anal chaining-system. In Ikaruga, long chaining gives less points compared to DOJ. For example, you can easily lose 1/2 of the stage score by doing simple mistake ( such as picking up a powerup ). Scoring also increases difficulty a lot. In Ikaruga, chains can be saved pretty easily. And the difficulty-level in DOJ second loop is staggering. Only ~8 people have actually 1cc'd the both loops.

    yea after two years i've come to realize that DDP DOJ does outdo Ikaruga by a longshot lol.

  • @Sasupoika2 Valid argument. Here's my take:

    Ikaruga: more player friendly, and damn beautiful.

    DaiOuJou: more challenge friendly, with Hibachi as a true challenge.

  • I'm no expert, but wouldn't it have been quicker, and easier to blast the boss towards the begining with homing lasers?

    Or was he just waiting cause he was showing off?
