@daniel4311 - I would go direct into the mixing board with maybe a tube preamp in the between for some added analog retro warmth....usually this kind of thing would be used in conjunction of a myriad of other effects like a Moog filter so the tube preamp would be a good way to boost overall sound at the end of the chain, prior to going into the mixing board
