Thank you for uploading these vids. It gives me some ideas on what to cook for lunch or dinner and it makes me hope for a ramen shop to come in the US, but that's unlikely. lol
@the0dd1 there are ramen shops here, well in SF theres some and now i am in philly after watching this video, I have no clue to where t find some in philly.
@shadeofme12 you mean slurping? it adds air to the food which give it more flavor. In Asian countries people slurp when they enjoy food to show that its good
Prices aren't bad either, about $5-$7 perbowl. I like all noodle soups from asia. The only one I don't like is the Korean ice ramen. I gotta have mine hot.
Honey, you've probably never even stepped out of your tiny little "township", so let's not go around shoving down people's throats your "opinion" of what's rude and what's not. Besides, nobody really cares what you think. I hate it when people walk into my home with their shoes on. The very shoes that walked the filthy streets and subway stations of NYC, but I don't go around preaching my personal ethical standards to them. Because I think THAT is pretty rude...
Okay, then you'll have to explain to us WHAT it is that makes it so abominably rude to eat their OWN food the way they've been doing it for years and years (probably much longer than your country has been in existence.)
If you can counter your point intelligently and convincingly (although it is still your "opinion,") then I'll believe you actually go to that community college in your tiny little "township" like you say you do in your page...
I live in Australia... I would love to be able to slurp when I eat noodles but its considered rude here...you are right it does taste so much better when you slurp it...I am Turkish and we do not allow people to come in our houses without thing their shoes off first for the sane reason u guys have. It is so sad of the level of culture shock experienced here :(
i love it when they speak like whooaaa whroaaar whoreaaaa XD

It's not rice cake. The narrator says they're made from powders of two different kinds of Japanese potatoes.

Why does he have to make those sounds when he slurps his soup,it's rude
Adria20 4 years ago
in japan when u slurp it's like saying "this food iS really TASTY!" and also for colding the food/NOODELS when it's HOT!.

that's what they do in japan
the messier you eat the more sign of appreciation for the cook feels.
ever seen dragon ball? or rather yet...any anime?
goku or just any person eats food really messy and there'd always be a happy cook smiling b/c that's just how it is in japan.
i hear burping is also appreciated
