USS NIMITZ CVN-68 & USS CONSILATION CV-64 were the carries we were on. Desert Storm Vet. I was an ADAN in powerplants. Airman Leonard & everyone called me ''Lenny" for short. I'm driving trucks now for the past 18 1/4 yrs. Who am I talking to here?
Spent my last 2 years with the screwbirds. 1989-1991. Made 1 west-pac on Nimitz and one aroud the horn(South America)on the Connie. I was in corrosion-control and it was my job to paint that big red screwbird on the tail.

I was in the line shack, powerplants, corrosion control, back to power plants, then my last year & a half in corrosion. I was ADAN LEONARD or Airman LEONARD. Every one called me LENNY for short.
It's sad cause i saw S-3B's getting cut in half for scraps

I was there as a VS-33 photo mate...in 1961. Wonderful memories. We cruised on the USS Bennington, CVS 20, check out their website.
