  • Can I put this on my 99 Sierra V6?

  • can i put a k&n intake on a 1991 gmc sierra 1500?

  • I put the cold air induction on my 2003 silverado 6.0 but I used a k&n panel type filter and a 3 inch piece of flex , required cutting a hole in the air intake box and I routed the flex down to the front bumper where the recovery hook on the passenger side is at, major improvment more horses and better mileage. This is ,in my opinion more of a true cold air induction system than the under the hood type shown here, but both types do work

  • can this type of setup be used on a Silverado 4.3 liter.....Also,is that the stock exhaust system on that truck...sounds great!

  • @scallly64 No sorry but we don't make a intake system for a 4.3L. The exhaust system is a CGS Cat-Back Exhaust System and yes we do make that for the 4.3L

  • Dyno plot?

  • I love the roar mine makes as well. Cam that bioch ;)

  • I have a 2006 chevy silverado 1500 V8 and was wondering if i put a cold air intake on it would i need to do nething to the computer? might be a stupid questions but i want to know as much as possible before i do something to it

  • This intake system does not require any other modifications. Just a 10min installation and you just added horsepower.

  • i gotta a 2001 sierra with...

5.3L, 9 inch air filter, cool air intake, z71, 30's a/t, and stander 40 flow masters, its such a nice truck , i lik yours too.

  • @bananabrian121 Dude i almost got the same truck as you. I got 2003 sierra 33 dick cepek mud country tires 40 flow master exhaust 5.3L vortec and a tool box.

  • where is the heat shield?

  • We test all of our intakes with heat shields and with out, when we are prototyping these intakes. This Intake System gets so much cold air when the vehicle is moving that it doesn't require a shield. So by not including a heat shield we can keep the cost down.

  • its not like the heat shield is expensive, all it is is a piece of metal, can't be more than $20

  • Well it has to be laser cut, bent, powder coated, and boxed. About $20 to manufacture but by the time we sell it wholesale and they sell it to a retailer and they sell it to the end user, it gets expensive. After all that it makes no different in power with a heat sheild, why do it.

  • what kind of exhaust have you got on it?

  • CGS Motorsports Cat-Back Exhaust System

  • have you had any problems with your maf?

  • We don't have any problems with the MAF sensor on our intakes.

  • nice rims

  • nice truck i like the color and love the sound sounds mean lol
