My father told me that this was the first urdu movie of shabnam as a heroine n shabnam didn't know the urdu but she did a wonderful job as she was a true professional actress........

Yes its really strange that chanda the first urdu movie from east pakistan, today we are unable to find any of its video or CD. I once heard its one song on radio pakistan. But that was all i never found its video any where.

i saw this when i was only 4yrs old but i learnt and speak urdu fulently >i used to read" bacchu ki paheli ketab" in our school.being hindu rauf sahab used say"IDNU KI DEMAK BAHUT SAAF HAI". BY TEN MY URDU READING ANG WRITING WAS AS FLUENT AS BENGALI AND ENGLISH. I ALWAYS LIKED URDU :IT'S A VERY SWEET LANGUAGE.

1947-1970 : official language of east pakistan ,now bngoadesh was urdu.we used to have urdu book"bacchu ki paheli ketab" .all our teachers were BIHARI and that time all higly educated teachers (MSC,BA,BSC) WERE HINDUS but pakistani and local MUSLIM BOARD preferred muslim teachers with 4thgrade education. URDU is a beautiful language and nothing is wrong with urdu.

BANGLADESH WAS A BUDHIST COUNTRY FROM HINDUS ,WHEN ISLAM CAME , BUDDHIST BECAME Muslims because NAWAB WAS MUSLIM .
