The problem of squaring the circle means to create a square with the same area as a given circle. This cant be done by simple geometry with ruler and compass. You need to calculate the square root of pie as this is the factor you need to multiply the circles radius with to get the length of the squares sides.
You are actually not showing us a solution, because to make this paper cylinder the right height you already did this calculation.
