  • i own one and have to feed it way to much but i love burnen ricers asses in a 4x4 fuck a fart can... i gots me a hemi man wooo hooo OlllllllO

  • I think you'll find Range Rover was the first SUV -.-

  • @guitarkidification nope chevy suburban 1935

  • @cooloffroadtrucks The original 1935 chevy was a station wagon

  • @guitarkidification a station wagon body on a truck chassis which is arguably considered the 1st suv

  • @guitarkidification yeah it is the chevy suburban

  • @guitarkidification yeah it was the chevy suburban, it was the 1st suv

  • jeep commander is better than the grand cherokee

  • Im looking to buy a jeep and ive been watching lots of videos im thinking of getting a commander or a grand. the only vehicle i seen able to keep up with jeep is a hummer and going threw the course the hummer did good but the jeep was able to do it at higher speeds. All of those who dis jeep, thats why the army pick what car for the troops jeep.

  • Buy the way, the cat in the video is right. Aftermarket rubber is a must for any real offroading.

  • Just bought an 07 and took it hunting in the Northern Maine woods. It's not going to go where the wrangler can take you, but it is totally offroad capable. Not to mention a much better ride on pavement than the wrangler. I have to say, driving this big ole box his actually alot of fun. I hope it keeps living up to my expectations.

  • this car for a 16/17 year old? what you think

  • @KevinAlej21 Buy one, only if you have job that earn you enough to fill up the fuel tank

  • the 2006-2010 Jeep Commander was assembled in

    Detroit, Michigan, United States

    Graz, Austria

  • I sure as fuck love mine! Love the 4.7 sound~

  • I just drove my cousins yesterday. I loved it, it's high enough off the ground, pretty quick and the steering amazed me at how good it was

  • Test drove one today at Carmax...excellent ride. Love it.

  • Jeeps are terrible cars, Not trying to be a hater ,but They have some serious flaws. Reliability issues plague them, They look terrible from the exterior, They are underpowered(except for Hemi), Horrible resale value, bad fuel economy, cheap interior materials, they are built unsafe, and handle bad on the road. I'll admit that they are monsters offroadbut unless you live on a mountain or some shit that's not a priority,But for everyday driving they are absolutely horrible. Try and prove me wrong

  • @Explicitboss91 It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand.

  • @Explicitboss91 You certainly tried to be an idiot. The 4.0L six is one of the most reliable engines EVER. Bad fuel economy is to be expected from a fucking off-road capable SUV. I'm not sure what "built unsafe" even means. Oh, also: if they are absolutely horrible, why on God's green earth to people buy HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF JEEPS EVERY YEAR?

  • @thereal68Kollector The commander only sold 8000 in 2010 in America

  • @JoshJamesification Well, as the model was being phased out, duh. When I said "Jeeps," I didn't mean "only Commanders."

  • @thereal68Kollector Don't judge a car based on it's brand

  • @JoshJamesification Reading doesn't come easily to you, does it?

  • @thereal68Kollector Selling thousands of cars is not a valid argument regarding quality of all models

  • @Explicitboss91 u are a butthole u must not know much about jeep do u?

  • @Explicitboss91 my family has an 06 commander limited with the 5.7 hemi. when got it in 2005, and have never had a problem with it. we beat it up a lot and it just keeps going. it has 122,000 miles on it, and a huge dent on the passenger door, but when we took it to carmax to get an offer last week, they offered us $22,000.

  • @jsachse1996 22K from it?!?!! WOW! I just got my 06 4.7 Limited for 16K. Got a good deal man.

  • @Explicitboss91 and we used to have an 05 grand charokee before we bought the commander, but we ended up rolling it. my entire family was in the car, and we all walked away unharmed. the newer jeeps handle fine. i will admit that the old ones were bad, but jeep fixed the handling issues. i live in the city and both were very good for every day use. i dont want to get in a fight, i just want to say that they have been the best cars i have owned in my life and i will always have a jeep

  • @Explicitboss91 Unsafe? Cheap inside? Like @MrJoe2412 said. Its a Jeep thing. The inside is quite nice; very nice for a Crapler and unsafe? They are very safe now days. Reliability is not that bad ether man.

  • i love this jeep cant believe they stopped makin it

  • WHAT A GAY JEEP. IT ISN'T THE ORIGINAL. YOU EITHER BUY THE WRANGLER OR DON'T BUY ONE AT ALL BECAUSE EVERYTHING AFTER THE WRANGLER IS JUST SOCCER MOM SUVS AND ONLY FAGS DRIVE THEM.

  • @Rsimon859 your gay as hell and dumb to. you dont know shit about anything, no one cares about your gay views on jeeps or anything at all for that matter. so just STFU

  • @TheAmericanUhate

Now you know how I feel when Jeep owners call HUMMER H3s "not the real thing".

  • @Rsimon859 Were you born a douchebag or did you have to work on it?

  • @Rsimon859 People who have money drive em! And people who dont have to ride with soccer moms and leave comments on youtube about it wishing they had wranglers cuz they're homo and mop floors!

  • @tisoy909 hEY..I know lots of Homos who love Jeeps!!!

  • @johnherrera305 Thats great!

  • @Rsimon859 u my friend dont know shit about jeep. ALL FUCKING JEEPS ARE GOOD OFF RODE MAYBE YOU SHOULD WATCH MORE VIDS AND LEARN A LITTLE DIPSHIT yea i can use caps to

  • @Rsimon859 jeeps have a great amount of power. they can be MANLY,commander, wrangler,BOTH,grand Cherokee, or LADY LIKE, liberty. but they can plow through just about anything, unlike your 4 horsepower prius that gets from 0-60 in 20 seconds. dumbass

  • i have one its a good car

  • only diffrence between the commander and cherokee besides the third row seat is the cherokee is avavbile in srt8 trim

  • @macktenful no the grand cherokee is

  • ive always lovd these, too bad the build quality isnt so good

  • I bought the '07 Commander with FlexFuel so I can use Ethanol. Makes me feel good every time at the pump and more soe when I drive this. I absolutely dig this Jeep. I'm a fan of Wranglers (had two) and always wanted a Cherokee just for the looks. This Commander satisfies my Jeep fix, plus a few extra luxuries that I scoffed at, at first, but now I am lovin the luxury.

It has serious power and drives like silk in the city. Still a Jeep on mountain trails. I found the perfect Jeep for me.

  • @Scoobitzu I agree completely...I just test drove one today and thought it was great. It only had the 3.7 but still moved along well enough. Definitely on my list!

  • grocery getter with attitude, i would get one to tow my camper and play once in awhile

  • i love this jeep, too bad it never took off :/

  • doesnt that look a bit too much like a Land Rover Discovery? just saying

  • @ethandmcwilliams the commander to me is just chrysler saying "we didnt get rid of the xj(cherokee) we just updated it and change the name to commander" cause it heavily resembles the xj.

  • @09adge13 Yeah but the thing is too big to remind me of a xj. also, fore and aft sunroofs, 7 seats, stepped roof, all screams disco to me. but the crappy unibody frame is allll jeep ;) I just cant wait to see the doors pop open while flexing on the trail.

  • @09adge13 they said the same thing with the xj and the liberty lol. just doesnt look allot alike

  • I have a 2008 Jeep Commander Overland with the Hemi V8. There's a massive difference in performance between the 4.7L and the Hemi 5.7L. - especially in pulling ability.

It's interesting that Motor Trend found the transmission shifting to be sluggish. Most other reviews have found just the opposite.

  • @shookwood What other reviews? The other ones that I've read found this to be a horrible car, although the best for off-road. Like this one, they don't seem to manage that it's cramped, and very plasticy.

  • I bought the '06 with the 4.7L almost 4 years ago - it has been a fantastic, durable, reliable vehicle and is awesome in foul weather. Got 75K miles on it and going strong.

  • i have a commander 3.7 liter and it goes off road no problem. just wish mpg was better than average of 16mpg

  • I'm sure the 4.7 or event the 5.7 is only slightly worse with gobs more power. For a vehicle this heavy go with the V8

  • im about to be getting a 3.7 tomorrow, so the 3.7 has good pickup? or can you really tell its a v6 and does it lack? like acceleration good? and what kind of offroading do you do? and it is completely capable of exceeding the offroading capabilities?

  • i bought the 3.0 v6 engine, you can tell it lacks power, but its not "slow" 0-60 in 9 seconds isnt to bad for a heavy SUV, and offroad isnt as bad as you would expect either and i do a lot off it, because i live in the english country, you know it rains all day everyday here so its been through its paces, i was very suprised actually, but am pleased i made the purchase, so you will love the 3.7 i only wish they were available in right hand drive in the UK

  • good vid, super car .... 5/5
