I admire her enormously too...as my favorite Spice Girl she certainly made a huge impact on me, and her solo work is great too, especially the first album, which I totally adore....but that bit struck me as sarcasm. ^^ I don't find her annoying in this. @rafflesia maybe you don't find her annoying, but that's just you then. Channel 5 viewers were unanimous, she gatherned horrible reviews and a lot of negative publicity too at the time. I was horrified when I watched this on tv, this is NOT the Geri I love. She lost a lot of credibility because of this documentary, and like it or not, the passion era was a failure, both on a professional (she didn't get to release the album she wanted and it flopped) and personal level; glad this era is over.

Can't say I'm exactly shocked that it was poorly received; she surely could have, and has typically, been much better--more like the Geri we know & love. :[ That's sad. depends what you mean by "carry a tune". she sings only one or two of her songs live. the rest she lipsyncs AND they have to fix up her vocal recordings ALOT in production.

she did do "alright" during the spice world tour, meaning that she managed to be in tune, most of the time. she actually was better at keeping in tune than sporty was, at times.
