I like country music actually, Johnny Cash is my all time favorite but nowadays country music is about love, havin a beer with your friends, and just having a good time. i think its uplifting in a time where everything is negative. i was actually just watching the news and they said "an apple a day keeps the doctor away may not be true, find out why apples are linked to large numbers of strokes" tell me thats positive...

I listen to my grandparents and parents telling stories about when they were little and it really makes me wish i could go back in time to then...I love Travis Tritt he's really one of the few country music singers that stick true even if it isn't the "popular" style right now.

tritt is the finest of his generation. and while the song is ostensibly about the changing landscape of rural america, it's absolutely, positively a commentary about the sad state of the music industry. what isn't "country" anymore is "country" music.

Travis is one of the best pure country singers that came out of the late 80s/early 90s.he's also one of the best live,something thats lacking in music in general i think.in a time where Garth,Alan Jackson and Clint Black was big,T.T. held his own and was right up there with those singers.u can deny it all you want,but his track record in music proves diff.
