You also forgot that the IS350 has more torque. You didn't know that either, didn't you. The Lex has nearly 10 more lb/ft of torque than the HR versions '07~ '08 350z.

Both in mechanical standpoint and real world tests show that the IS350 is a faster car than the HR 350z. I'm not even talking about the older version of the 350z, buddy.

- Dragstrip database (most reliable source) show IS350 being 0.3 sec quicker and about 1~ 2 mph faster trap speeds.

- Magazine (some are reliable) source such as Road&Track show that the '07 Nismo 350z getting 13.7 sec quarter mile while the IS350 getting 13.5 sec quarter mile. Also the trap speed is higher on the IS350 which shows the overall power in speed in the quarter mile application.

Also the dragtimes database show more true results as these guys try their best to get best time possible, plus it's on a TRACK. The best time on the stock IS350 starts at 13.2x seconds while the Stock HR350z's best starts at 13.5x seconds. That's 0.3 second difference in the quarter mile. Also the trap speeds are higher on the IS350. Deal with it, punk.

I've heard reports from many owners that replacing the intake with an aftermarket in the IS actually gives a negative impact in performance, losing low-end torque so it ends up running slower than a stock IS350. The IS is already very well optimized from the factory stock intake system. The Z on the other hand, benefits well from mods. The launch on the IS350 in that video was poor anyway, driver's error. Don't you understand how much the acceleration is affected by the driver? Haven't you heard of drivers race? I have an IS350 and my brother has a 350Z so i think i can speak intelligently on this haha. If you are comparing a 2004 model Z to an IS350, then yes the IS is faster. But the new engine in the Z's have 306 horsepower which is exactly the same as the IS...the IS has more torque but the Z is lighter...in the end, both cars are dead nuts...there is really no need to argue over this

There is more to it than just horsepower and torque, son. The gear ratio is closer on the IS350 making it a monster in launching from 0- quarter mile. And they are not same you dumb ass.
