Nah. I forget the exact numbers, but let's say, Deacon started with $200 of his own money and loses it all.

Then he converts Doug's let's say $400 into chips and hits a hot streak, winning, winning and winning some more and eventually turns that $400 into $2,300.

So he gives Doug back his $400, and he started out by losing $200 (or whatever), but he's still up $1,700.

Don't forget, if you hit a hot-streak you can way more than double your money. I believe he states he's up $1,700.

i noticed that king of queens tends to not show some of the problems that occured during the show which should be resolved at the end of the episode, they just end the episode with a funny scene instead of showing whats supposed to happen, ie the fight with doug an carrie that would have occured.
