I have received communication from the Archdiocese that yes, the building has been sold. I am waiting to hear from them, so as to get contact info for the new owners, so as I can visit the church. I'll keep you posted ! !
It is my understanding that the church building has been sold to a Protasant church group. At least it will remain a church. I think the interior artifacts have been distributed to other Catholic churches in the Detroit area. I would suggest that you contact the Archdiosices of Detroit for further info. They have a web site, but have not answered any of my e-mail inquiries. Perhaps a phone call?
