Ave Maria ( Hail Mary )...if there is a more beautiful piece of music, then I have yet to hear it. The Blue Danube Waltz does place a close second.......well, maybe just second. My dad was in this choir way back in the late 30's & early forties. Bob was kind enough to have the boys at my wedding AND singing this song. Truly magnificent.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear "Ave Maria" I tear up! I insisted on this song for my daughter's wedding. She wanted it to be sang when the mother's walked down the aisle, not when she walked down. Well, sure enough, when I was being walked down, I wept like a child.

To me, the Robert Mitchell Choir is superior to any boys choir I have heard. There was such innocence and beauty in their music. It's a shame that there are no recordings (of which I am aware) in existence today. They could at least release a recording of their film performances.
