  • the player had touched the ball with his hand

  • Comment removed

  • All the keeper had to do was let the ball go by him, and it wouldn't have counted. Must have had a brain fart by trying to save it.

  • I miss the capacity crowds up Home Park :(

  • mickey evans you legend

  • Plymouth Argyle till I die!

  • That was kind of strange yes, but still it was false goal. Cause indeed it was penalty kick and that guy kicked free kick. In penalty kick situation u cant make it with free kick. And there need to be a judge(i don't know exact word) to show place of ball.

But still it was odd... :D:D

  • @lahtinenjoona It was not a penalty kick.It was an indirect free kick! And it hit the keeper before reaching the net, otherwise it wouldn't count..

  • Evans is HAND!!!

  • The goal did count. Indirect freekick for the backpass and the keeper touched it on the way in. It's Mickey Evans of my club - Plymouth Argyle.

  • @Knockl96 he took it out of the goalkeepers hands

  • @pyruscollector1 Because it was an indirect freekick!!!! Read the top post, explains everything... fool.

  • Wow... Bad reffs there.

  • el portero la toca si no no hubiera valido

se hubiera quitado el wey y dan saque de meta

  • Hahahahahahahahaha that goalie was funny.... When that put the ball on the ground he ran back with a quickness.. lol

  • it is a goal because since the goalie picked up the ball with a pss the other team gets to cheat too

  • THAT IS FUNNY!

  • that didn't count

  • @pyruscollector1 no it didnt he took it out of his hands

  • Guys stop being retarded and read the top comments... the first one explains it.

  • can he do that? wasnt it a hand ball? or was it like a penalty or something....?

  • @TheCoolestLoosers When the keeper takes the balls with his hands after a pass from a teammate it's an indirect free-kick. So Evans took a quick free-kick and shooted the ball in the keeper, so it touched someone else before it wen't in the goal which makes it an indirect free-kick which makes it a counting goal.

  • not very nice

  • its been exactly 4 years from wen the video was posted

  • The keeper should've jumped away from the ball lol

  • the best football compilation /watch?v=l5BA5ewdQDs&feature=channel_video_title

  • he has to pass it to his own player

  • @westhamboi12 not if it gets intercepted ... in this case by the goalie

  • Erm, he hand balled it?

  • Thumbs up if u live near or in plymouth!! I do

  • It count...its clear its a goal ,unless the goale didn't touch it..

  • Why didn't they ask Evans?

  • If a pixel costs $1 this video would cost $1

  • correct goal. indirect free kick. if the keeper didn´t touch it, it would not count. because of the touch from the keeper, its indirect > correct.

    nice one!

  • indirect kick would be avlid point if it wasnt in the box burt it was so that doesnt matetr

  • @dragonangel6 Justified nonetheless, he didn't do anything wrong. :)

  • @dragonangel6 Justified nonetheless, he didn't do anything wrong. Besides how many people on the other team are going to yell at the referee for not allowing the goal.

  • @dragonangel6 Justified nonetheless, he didn't do anything wrong. Besides how many people on the other team are going to yell at the referee for not allowing the goal. This guy took the best way out, by following the rules. :)

  • That's a poor referee decision give the goal. He should've to retook it.

  • @dragonangel6 It's a loop-hole in the rules, and the player doing the kick made excellent use of it. :P

  • soccer is fucked

  • Cool Story bro :D

  • Lucky,he's goal ...

  • Comment removed

  • but isn't it not supposed to count because a defender was in the box/ i though a player cant be in the box during a penalty kick...

  • @tuzoog not a penalty, back passes are indirect free kicks, and the goalie deflected it, so it counts.

  • @xDuMbOo oooohhh ok. but in the box isnt a penalty??

  • @tuzoog nope, if its a back pass, its not a penalty no matter where.

  • @xDuMbOo oh kk

  • hahaha

  • is the speaker's voice auto-tuned?!?!?!?!?!???

  • lol

  • lol why didnt the goal just jump out of the way?

  • that was sooooo stupid

  • You have obviously no talent if you can only score by that...bias goal, even if it is legal.

  • I was there for this goal! What's even starnger is our striker and their keeper are both called Evans......

  • @AliveNote58 No! Indirect free kicks are always taken from where they occur.

  • dam thats pretty pro :D

  • hah pk gf

  • It should be a indirect-free kick, i'm a goalie. I made that mistake a few times ;$

  • @malganas it was an indirect freekick but it hit the keeper before going in making the ball active

  • Mistake of the referee. It's an indirect free kick, however he should wait for defenders to make wall and also the goalie was too close to the ball when Evans made the kick.

  • was the linesman even looking

  • smart guy

  • argylee!

  • Hey mate, hows it going? you like football manager games right? i found this cool one online footy-manager com its very similar to the football manager game. check it out. its pretty cool actually.

  • Was that goal seriously allowed

  • MICKEY EVANS VS SWINDON 2003-20004... PAFC CLASSIC!!!

  • My last name is Evans lol.

  • prick

  • return pass, indirect free kick. why can he shot directly? has the gk touched the ball?

  • he did snatch tbe ball :/

  • cheeky git =D

  • ITS AN INDIRECT FREE KICK. Since the keeper touched it it counts as a goal.

  • hahahahahahaha

  • hey, he's in penalty area, there's no free kick inside a penalty area ! are you all f**kin crazy?

  • @hansJoyfull There are free kicks in the penalty area. Direct free kicks by the defense are taken in the penalty area. Indirect free kicks (by either team) are taken in the penalty area.

  • hahaha ´thats brilliant

  • The restart for the deliberate handling of the ball by the keeper after being passed the ball by a teammate is an indirect free-kick. Evans proceeded to take the ball and use a quick free-kick, that is directly taking the ball and restarting play with his indirect free-kick. After making contact to the ball, it touched the goalkeeper, making the ball in play. After touching the keeper, the ball went in the goal, counting as a goal.

  • @MarsakMorda that makes no absoute fucking sense

  • @DryAsWater That however is the exact explanation of what happened, lol.

  • @MarsakMorda Very well explained, didn't get the goal untill you explained the last bit!

  • @MarsakMorda wow i had no idea that it could be that technical but all that seems true

  • @MarsakMorda an indirect free kick has to take place outside of the penalty area....

  • @killchickeneggboy

An indirect freekick has to take place outside of the Goal Area (Small Box within Penalty Area), not outside of the Penalty Area. Close, but no cigar. And I only noticed this cause I was looking at goals again. Ha.

  • @MarsakMorda Yeah...it doesn't work like that.

  • @xjohnyboy uhm yes it does, have you ever played soccer

  • @supdogz321 Yes i have so be quiet

  • @supdogz321 And your right, it was an indirect freekick, but he can't simply shoot it in like that. It should've been a goal if he passed it to a teamate or if it touched someone.

  • @xjohnyboy The goalkeeper touched it, if the keeper would've let it go in w/o touchin it, it wouldn't have been a goal

  • @supdogz321 Oh ok

  • @MarsakMorda duh

  • @MarsakMorda yes butt the indirect free kick must be taken outside off the 16 meter area

  • @pomppenis That's not true.

  • @MarsakMorda u forget one thing the freekick is out side the penalty box so if it is inside it is a penalty right

  • @MrBashir999 nope, indirect freekick is different to normal freekicks and penalties. indirect freekicks can even be taken on the goal line lol.

  • @MarsakMorda but it should have been a penalty not a free kick

  • @salemzaraki no, that kind of foul is sanctioned with indirect freekick.

  • The reffree did not look when the back pass , oni saw duing the goal

  • I was at this game, a very clever goal by mickey evans. PAFC

  • This shouldn't count because:

    1) If its an indirect free kick he has to pass it to a teammate which he didn't do.

    2) If it isn't an indirect free kick, then the striker has deliberately handballed it and should be booked.

  • no cause the goal keeper touched it.

  • Comment removed

  • @ozza33 the goalkeeper touched the ball....

  • @ozza33

You obviously havent got a clue about football...

  • @ozza33 its penalty u idiot

  • @ozza33 An indirect free kick must touch another player for a goal to be scored. The opposing goal keeper is "another player."

It was an indirect free kick.

  • I the goalie didn't touch it after the free kick it wouldn't count because it wasn't a direct free kick

  • Even though he is allowed to take the free kick quickly, he can't just snatch it from the keeper like that

  • @GuitarNek cost the other team a goal?? well that is what footbal is all about....goalkeeper shouldn't have give the ball to the enemy forwars, he did and the fault can be executed anytime unless u ask the ref for the distance.

  • what the hell hahahahahaha

  • best goal

  • @GuitarNek No the stupidity of the keeper cost them a goal, he shouldn't have picked up the ball, the striker takes in essence a quick freekick and if the referee was happy with that, than its a goal.

  • damn them freaking aim bots

  • hhhhhhhhhh

  • غبي

  • ههههههههههههه/hhhhhhhh

  • 2 stupid errors

    1st catching the ball

    2nd touching it again

    poor goal keeper

  • what a Goal

  • ماساه جيفه قبلوه

  • @GuitarNek It goes in so, they are hardly going to ask to take it again so they can be 10 yards back are they?

  • how can there be a free kick in the box

  • @gobagov Indirect freekick inside the box occurs when the goalkeeper picks up a backpass.

  • @gobagov man is this situation u can it's possible and if the goal keeper didn't touch the ball ... this goal will not be accept

  • im not sure that should have counted yeah i know that the keeper got a touch and all that stuff but i dont think it was legit that he took it so fast, did the ref blow the whistle?

  • xDDDDDD

  • @GuitarNek A few yards away, your point being.....????

  • @Stokie09123 i think guitarnek is trying to say that the opposing players are too close to the ball before it's being played so there should've been a retake. But since the attacking team did not complain nor in any way was put in a disadvantageous position after the kick was taken, there was no foul?

  • @tmac891 The kicking team has the option to take a quick restart, even if the opposing players are not yet 10 yards away.

  • @wguynes Unless the ref calls 'wait for the whistle;

  • Ich dachte immer ein Freistoß im 16-Meter-Raum ist automatisch ein 11er?

  • goalkeeper should've jumped OUT of the way lol

  • hahahaha

  • youre right its a legal goal but you must say he is an asshole xDD

  • Now that's mad funny! he's like "Fuck!! we need a goal" then all of the sudden BAM! goal. ROFL

  • Mickey Evans (Trigger) Argyle legend. Such quick thinking.

  • ARGYLE!!!

  • LOOOL

  • I remember this clearly. A legitimate goal, as Rhys Evans in goal got a touch on the shot, which made it legal. If he had got out of the way, the goal would not of counted.

  • the goalkeeper cant pick up the ball if his team passes it 2 him unless its a header or sumting

  • @krnc17 that what i thought but in the FIFA2010 they all did it alot so it must be legal now.

  • @FiredRice15 No the keeper can't pick the ball up unless it is headed to him or it touches his player without being deliberate e.g deflection. Fifa 10's code decides whether it is a pass or not.

  • @Stokie09123 i know but if u watched the FIFA 2010 world cup you would see that they pick it up all the time when their team mates passes it deliberately to the keeper.

  • @FiredRice15 Are you talking about the game or the tournament? Either way it is aginst the rules of the game trust me, it results in an indirect free kick where the incident occured which is often inside the box. It is up to the referee to decide what constitutes a deliberate pass to the keeper.

  • Its not strange really the Defender passed the ball to HIS goalkeeper so then that is a indirect freekick and he took it then it was a goal :) simple

  • your just ignorent sods like 2ndsB4 said

  • how is it strange?????????????

  • haha i remember this, would have been 13 i think. Didn't realise we devon boys had coverage in germany though :O

  • i was at this game this goal is not fake and Micky Evans ... argyle god !!!

  • this is real gool!!!!

  • lmaooo

  • this is not a real goal

  • @MrBaseballJunkie Yes it is.

  • @Stokie09123 are u stupid he took the ball out of the goal keeper's hands and then shot the ball u must not know anything about soccer

  • @MrBaseballJunkie Goalkeeper picks up a backpass, indirect free kick to Plymouth, Micky Evans grabs the ball out of the keepers hands to take it using initiative, knowing he can't shoot directly he fires it at the keeper it hits him and goes in fair goal. Don't call me stupid and don't accuse me of not knowing the rules of ''soccer''. Idiot.

  • @MrBaseballJunkie you call it soccer so your the one that doesnt know anything you idiot! he scored an indirect freekick fro a backpass by hittig the keeper first you fucking stupid ignorant YANK!! Stay away from our game you have your own games go and play them!

  • @lfc4evamullav ok buddy first of all the reason why I did not think it was a real goal is cuz it was a indirect kick which means u cannot score on a free indirect kick. but then later on I saw it hit off the goalie so my mistake. another thing is no need to orgasm about how u know the game of soccer

  • @MrBaseballJunkie ITS NOT CALLED SOCCER YOU IGNORANT YANKEE CUNT!!

  • @lfc4evamullav It actually is called soccer, maybe not where you're from but where he is from it is. People like you make me want to kill everyone not in the US for being such short tempered bitches over YouTube. How about you say that to any american's face and walk away without getting knocked the fuck out. Shut your bitch ass mouth, what was the point of your post other than to piss people off and give everyone a reason to dislike you, calm the fuck down next time you post something.

  • @lfc4evamullav no it is called Futbol, man stfu you I know the game better then you and do you kiss your mom with that mouth?

  • @MrBaseballJunkie Futbol?? no it isnt you fucking idiot! England created the sport and we called it football! you speak english so its called Football your not fucking brazilian you idiot so why the fuck would you call it futbol, you are an idiot and are just chattin out of ya fuckin arse because your getting twatted in this argument, dont even write back you lost fucking ages ago i hope your fucking family died in 9/11

  • @lfc4evamullav No need for the last bit, its only football...

  • @lfc4evamullav aw did I make the Baby mad?

  • @lfc4evamullav also I am brazilian

  • @MrBaseballJunkie I think you'll find it is actually called association football.

  • @MrBaseballJunkie aw did I make the Baby mad?

  • ive seen this before when i was about 15..still scratching my head about it now.

  • fake

  • the goalkeeper should of had left it

  • nice xD

  • @youshouldknowmee that only happens with fouls or handballs, if it is a back pass (i.e. what is happening in the video) then it's an indirect freekick inside the box
