@pochazet In principle, you have a referee, coach and matchmaking to ensure people don't get seriously hurt. Although in boxing, there's just so few targets, the head takes so much damage, that people get hurt or killed all the time.
They really should consider bringing back the number of rounds in a boxing match and being far less strict about the height of the belt.
In kickboxing, 3x3 including legs as targets, nobody's been killed to my knowledge, and people can do 300+ fights in a career.

Ok boneheads get educated this was a Toughman type of contest and it is the Refs job to keep the combatants safe because you get mismatches. The refs are put in there and paid 50$ most of the time and are not boxing sanctioned refs. This should have been stopped according to those people there long b4 it got to this. The lady was not in good shape and her opponent had boxing regimes in her past. A real ref would have stopped it at 8 to 10 unanswered blows. She got hit over 100X in head shots.

Ok boneheads get educated this was a Toughman type of contest and it is the Refs job to keep the combatants safe because you get mismatches. The refs are put in there and paid 50$ most of the time and are not boxing sanctioned refs. This should have been stopped according to those people there long b4 it got to this. The lady was not in good shape and her opponent had boxing regimes in her past. A real ref would have stopped it at 8 to 10 unanswered blows. She got hit over 100X in head shots.
