  • Can't really say I've ever seen something like this before...... But it's fuckin' awesome. LOL You should find some ATV tires or something for it!

  • What did i just watch 0_0

  • i'll give you $100 for it

  • @iceshadow238 it would probably cost $200 to ship

  • just wondering...would a hydrostatic drive john deere riding lawnmower with some modifications be a good off-road lawnmower like the black one you have?

  • Welded rear. This guy knows how to party!

  • Instead of using the mower for a forweeler how about using it whut it's ment for mowing your lawn.

  • @Fearlessfront would you ever consider trying to make a 4x4 lawnmower?

  • hmmmm.....maybe a 4 link and coilovers?

  • why dont you just get a toyota? lol u have the yard toyota lil bigger then lawnmower

  • @hurtemall08 haha! I have a Jeep with 3.5 inches of lift, it's only fun if theres a bunch of snow on the ground.

  • @Fearlessfront jeeps are for girls until you set them on 3/4 ton axles lol

  • @bobhadababitsaboy haha! hard to deny that! It seems everytime I see a wrangler, it has a vagina in the drivers seat.

  • @Fearlessfront here in colorado you see jeeps all day but its also pretty common to see them v8'ed or way up on thirty somethings to fourtys with big ass diffs all custom we're like ten minutes out of the mountains

  • @Fearlessfront air the tires down a little and it'll prob crawl a little better

  • @hurtemall08 toyota's are gay

  • @colep497 says the poor guy

  • all the old snappers twist like that they twist on the main tube right in the middle its kind of a self leveler

  • My 12hp rear engine Snapper sort of flexes. The middle twists about 10 degrees. Give or take 5 degrees.

  • @thenixter101 lol! thats not good!

  • @Fearlessfront it actually has a joint in the middle that is supposed to twist. lol it just helps when going slow. if i go fast, it is like it has no suspension.

  • take a look at my craFTSMAN ON MY CHANNEL

  • And the dirt too

  • looks fun but you might need some more aggressive tread on the back, looked like you struggled going over that log

  • I dang never saw a lawn mower crawler crazy!!! Lol I would love to build one I got rc crawlers and love it

  • did u give up on in and start on the racer if u did can i buy the crawler :D it would work best in my woods i got with rocks and dirt hills all i got to do is put some truck swamper tires on it :D

  • @lawnmoweredneck101 I still have it, I haven't drivin it since the "Fail romp"....

    Do you live in Maine?

  • looks fun an cool!! someone make me one!!!!!!

  • that looks like alot of fun man. i miss my mower

  • @johnnyboy922 I still gotta finish this one. gave up on it in favor of the racer...

  • @Fearlessfront More tire, Less rim :P

  • @Bunkers101 ya, these tires SUCK!

  • either put a blade on it and cut grass or flip it over or do something cool like run it into a river or something. got mine lifted with 20hp briggs i plan to break it evrytime i ride it hope someone has camera

  • Please keep up the great work Fearless!!!

  • Next up: The Moab.

  • Dude that is SOOO badass!!! haha i wanna make mine a crawler now!

  • Dear santa...Please bring this poor guy a quad

  • they make 4 wheelers?

  • get a real crawler not no lawn mower fool!

  • Sick flex and nice locker doing work!

  • @fathan16 already got one. Sorry your isn't working out for ya ;)

  • @fathan16 If you dont like the vids dont watch.

  • Wat size are the rear tires? im lifting a a craftsman also and want to do something kinda like yours. i just need to know wat size ur rear tires are.

  • @kale9898 They are 13" car tires on honda wheels. I think the were 175 something R13... really small.

  • @Fearlessfront how did you get the rear to lock... like what did you do?

  • @bigbam2wwf he has a 18 minute video on it

  • @johnnyboy922 i seen

  • what color powerband does that beast have

  • for some reason watching this put me in a good mood, this is so awesome!

  • @martinradioaktiv why would you watch the video if you don't like it? it's fairly well represented by the thumb nail... yet you clicked it anyway, to complain apparently... I don't typically waste my time doing things like that...

Sounds like YOU need to get a life.

  • hay that pretty cool. All ya need is some BF Goodrich mud tires on there and ya will be all set.

  • Hey i love these vids just one question...does that shifter on the side come stock or did you make it that way b/c i thought that was the deck raise/lower?

  • @yamahafordlover I built it to do that. the shifter used to be between your legs.

    It was the deck raise/lower

  • @Fearlessfront Thanks I actually saw the video where you built it and I must say as a small engine mechanic i am very impressed Nice job Would love to see some new tractors come in with some new ideas! Thanks

  • is that a 1 forward and 1 backward gearbox?

    if so

    do you have a name?

    im looking for them :(

  • @iDennis95 No, this is a "foote" transaxle, it has 4 forward, 1 reverse. your looking for an "MTD" single speed style transaxle.

  • @Fearlessfront

    tyvm

  • Needs more triangulation

  • @ChrisHolmz where? on the front end?

  • @Fearlessfront I was just kiddin around. BTW your vid with the wheelies is fucking hilarious. It had my GF and I rolling around. Keep the stunts coming cause i'm definitely subscribed!

  • @ChrisHolmz oh ok! I didnt know if you thought the axle needed more support, which it kinda does.... haha! you got me!

Im gonna try to make some more riding and romp videos in the future

  • u need tire chains

  • oh man, overlooking the hood on that thing brought back some awesome memories. I got my dads old craftsman running and it kept me busy all summer. Had atv tires on the back end of mine.

  • if you have access to a machine show try to make an independent rear suspension, it's provide clearance and maximum flexability

  • @92MustangLover If I had access to a machine shop, this would be 4wd, haha

  • have you thought of how to do the rear axle like that? do some serious mini rock climbing then

  • @freespeeddrift I though about it... a lot! It is something I will probably try on the next off road build I do

  • Did you weld the rear diff?

  • @nathan12111 Yes I did!

  • Looks like this one needs ATV tires too! LOL

  • @NicksGarageDoor Yeah, I'm thinking of trying to find an old set of snow tires for it or something

  • @Fearlessfront quad bike tyres would be good

  • Alright that'd b cool

  • hi nice vid what are the rims off of i like to do the same thing.

  • @MrHeadshot1982 the front wheels are the old back wheels. and the back wheels are old car tires

  • @Fearlessfront thanks.

  • Could u make a update walk around and romp fir the craftsman crawler?

  • @Fatmankad once I get in back to the house I can. It's not here right now

  • one small tip if u want to go ontop of rocks and stuff buy wheels off sum 4x4 4 wheeler

  • that is one badass mower

  • 2 people disliked cause they got push mowers!

  • what size of tires are in the front?

  • @TheDakota450 18" tall, 8" rim. not sure the width.

  • i just flodded my craftsman

  • @rileycat115 haha! with gas? or water?

  • @Fearlessfront NICE MACHINE MATE

  • now drive it through a 2 ft. deep pond like i drove my craftsman 22 hp with no changes to it lol except i took the deck off

  • @rroobbbb1 this thing barely climbs a hill without stalling.. lol! It's far from done.

  • @Fearlessfront lol i need some help on making my mower better :P lol message me whenu can please? :D

  • My cousin and I put one together a long time ago, we put a 5 horsepower on it, and made the rear axle a dualie. After alot of abuse it finally ripped the C clips out of the inside of the trans. But it went everywhere. We just took some threaded rod and a piece of fence tubing, and bolted 2 rims together. Also, we raised the seat, mitred the front axle and rewelded it together for more clearance, and replaced the wheel with handle bars. went up VERY muddy creek banks like it was nothing.

  • @blellblell Nice! That's why I love messing with lawn mowers, you can basically turn it into what ever you want to. and there super cheap. its a very easy way to have too much fun! haha

  • thank you for the info . starting the rebuild. I am building the craftsman. your vids are a great help.

  • @nohelmet10 thanks man, I still haven't really finished this one yet. theres still a lot I want to do to it.

  • Hay I had a craftsman just like ur crawler I did a pulley swap and got it doing 25 mph but I traded it 4 a bigger tractor 4 lawn tractor pulls

  • I just received my first tractors. got 2 for a 100 dollars.first is a craftsman2 12 hp.. its now a 17 hp ohv motor.runs nice.. but wtf? this thing is made from a stamp.its like riding a old toy from china..the second is a mtd with a 14.5 ohv. i have torn every nut and bolt apart.the rust on the rear frame is bad. my? should i build the mtd or just part them? what should i use for an off road tractor?

  • @nohelmet10 I bet the mtd has the vari-drive(double pulley in the middle with 2 belts) if the craftsman has a single belt, I'd build that one.

  • do you air down the tires at all? youd be suprised how much it helps especial in mud or when its wet

  • @possiblymeish yeah, I do, these tires just suck

  • pedal to the metal ! ! :)

  • Awsome!!! I have a craftsman like that except I put a 20hp opposed twin in mine it has lots of power!!

  • you should mount a gas pedal on that

  • @liftedduramax555 I probably will sometime soon.

  • Could you make a video of how you put the car rear tires on? Thanks!

  • @DosAmigosDnZ I don't have the tractor at the moment, but if you find my vid called craftsman update, shocks and rear tires, it shows it a little bit in there.

  • Hey, I am planning on buying the same tractor (either a 11 or 12, they are the same tractor), and I was wondering if you could show us exactly how you did the wheels, what tools you used, and anything else. Thanks.

  • @NRGearz i'll pm u a link

  • @OffroadMadness1 I donno, I just haven't done that yet

  • If you put a couple of Winter Snow Tires on that thing, it would be un-stoppable.

  • @tcc187620 yeah, Id like to do that

  • Heres a good question for you ... can you muffle the tractor? not asking you to do it but asking the question. I want to muffle my tractor - QUIET :) i get conflicting advice - yes you can, no you cant - What do you think?

  • @DJRockinRob Sure you can, I like them quiet as well, thats why the Murray still has the stock exhaust on it. If you make it longer, it'll quiet it down quite a bit. Or you could ebay a screw in style muffler.

  • @Fearlessfront The ppl who told me not to muffle it say that the quiter you make it the more backpreasure you make and therefore loose power - no one could tell me how much power it looses but they said its noticable. I'm not looking for a "wisper" just about 2/3 the current volume. ground clearance isnt a major factor for me so i could pipe it down and under :) oppinions again please? P.S. i want to tow the equivelant of a small compact 4 door car.

  • @DJRockinRob I would do a long exhaust, the stock size. Make it about 24 inches long or longer, and it should quiet it down. Back pressure is more important on a 2-stroke then these small 4-strokes. I doubt you'll really notice much of a differance in power changing the exhaust. if you want to make a real differance, port it!

  • make a 4x4 or 6x6 or 6x4 outa one of them

  • i think that some ag tires would look nice on the back of the crawler

  • Definitely works good - i like the deck lift shifter setup , its a neat idea.

Yeah a couple old snow tires from the junkyard would give you some better traction- if y ran tubes in em you could run super low PSI for best traction or maybe bead lock em.

If you can find one of those 12volt air compressors ( that like clip to the battery) - after romping all day can air em back up to get home.

    Awsome machine- thumbs up

  • @dangeroustoys56 Thank man! shes come a long way, but still has a little ways to go. I'll get some better tires on her soon.

  • That's cool, since you changed the location of the shifter wouldn't it be Easier to put in rear suspension. That would be really cool!

  • @Tommyhonda100 yeah, it would be in a way. haven't thought about it much yet, I still gotta find a spot to mount the battery.

  • you should try and drive the murray over so we can see the difference

  • @TheRUSSELLBOY I probably will sometime soon, I haven't tried it yet...

  • Dang dude, LOVE YOU'RE VIDEOS!!!!Can you make a vid on how to put 5 gears on ur tractor?

  • @WrestlingFan136 Thanks man! glad you liked it! to get 5 gears, you would have to swap the transmission out with a 5-speed.

  • less air in rear tires! and you wont be slippin over the log as much

  • @bubbawinchester They have like 5-8 psi, any lower and I risk losing the bead. I need better tread

  • @Fearlessfront yea ya could use a little more tread

  • nice tractor just needs something done with the rear tires less air or different tires.

  • @biggamehunters2 Definitely different tires, these were just on here to see if the trans would hold up...

  • Wow., I'd be smiling the hole time on that.

    Great job!

  • @TRcustomengineering lol, it is pretty fun to ride even though it's slow. I can't wait to take it to some real rocks soon!

  • Try less pressure in the rear tires, It give you a bigger footprint and more traction.

  • @318Captain I keep it pretty darn low as it is. like 5-8 psi. I just need more tread.

  • @Fearlessfront I watched it again and at 2:15 i can see the flex in the tire. Normally I just run them as low as I can with just enough to hold the bead on. lol

  • @318Captain h aha, me too!

  • shweet track you build

  • @DSLGKC550 Thanks, it's small but it'll work for now.

  • Still needs wider wheels at the back bud ;) Thing works awesome though

  • @CSAKvids so far, so good... Not sure what tires i'll go with though.

  • @Fearlessfront You could try banding the wheels to make them wider. You'd need some cylindrical metal though

  • you might want rear tires with some grip

  • @toyotakid93 Yeah, I know.. I was just using these to see if the trans will take it.

  • how did you make the front end flex like that? its duckin sweet

  • @ultumitbmx he has build vids

  • @ultumitbmx yup, theres a video on all of it.
