@techkid1000 You have to root with Gingerbreak (search at xda). then download RomManager, click install clockword mod custom recovery. Give rom manager root acess and relaxe while installing! After finished just click on reboot into custem recovery and do the same things as schow in the vid ;)

If you are still using froyo, then turn off the device and press an hold Home, Volume Up and Power Button in this order until it enters the recovery console. (Note: if it enters the emergency mode, the turn off, and do the exact same sequence but press the Volume Down buttorn, not the Volume Up, on some phones it's vice versa

Se poate intampla si asta, e pt ca nu s-a facut un wipe complet, cauta pe xda la sectounea android developement, p500: boot loop. Acolo iti explica cum il refaci, (DOAR DACA CHIAR NU ITI MAI PORNESTE IN RECOVERY). Dupa care inainte de urmatoarea instalare foloseste wipe-ul facut de mik_os, gasesti link-ul in description

It's installing exactly the same way, except, if you flashing a new version of the gignger 2.3.4 you don' need to wipe ( unless you have froyo or a different version of the os, not the ones from mik) . Gapps and other kernels are installing the same way as a patch, no wipe needed.

la fel ca si instalarea 2.3.3, trebuie doar sa-l cauti un pic. Te-as fi ajutat cu placere doar ca nu am facut niciodata downgrade la 2.2 asa ca nu am cum sa iti dau niste link-uri incercate de mine. Si nu vreau sa te trimit pe cine stie ce ROM netestat.

Uneori wipe-ul ala nu sterge chiar tot ce trebui datorita faptului ca nu monteaza bine.systemul, dute la mounts dai mount system, dupa care wipe, daca nu merge nici asa, intra pe xda la linkul meu si vezi ca in primul post de umde ai luat Rom-ul, este un "wipe" pe care trebuie sa-l pui in rootil cardului, dupa care trebuie flash-uit.

Hi...i just did everything you did with my optimus one: i download the ROM..put it into my SD card, start the phone with custom recovery, wipe cache and data, then install the rom and then reboot, ...and when i rebootit stucks on the "ANDROID" screen (the one after LG's logo)....i have waited like 20 minutes and the phone won't start....i need help please...i did a back up, but i want the gingerbdread interface...help please =D

Daca inca mai poti intra in recovery mode, atunci incearca sa dai mount sdcard si system dupa aceea wipe, si dupa aceea install, daca nu merge nici asa incearca sa mai iei o data update-ul

The problem you have is that your phone don't have a Custom Recovery Mode. Don't worry, some phones come with it pre-installed, others not, but you can easily get a Custom Recovery Mode. I put a link in the description, there you have your Custom Recovery Mode + a very detailed tutorial of installing it. Had explained this already but in romanian. If you have any questions, just ask :)
