  • J'adore.... Que des géants ! Quel coup de cœur pour Oscar !! Une présence incroyable et une voix sublime !!!

  • Demain <3

  • Brooklyn is a revelation as Oscar, had never heard of her. Her voice/presence is BRILLIANT; her Italian pronunciation could improve a lot, but her singing is above everything else here. My opinion. And who says you will always be discredited if you don't speak very well YET? (Delicate22 and micioamilano....)

  • Harolyn Blackwell is an amazing soprano!

  • I AM ADDICTED to these 4:41 long video ...THEYA RE FANTASTIC!

    ESPECIALLY HAROLLY BROOKLYN! :D:D:D

    GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

  • Perfection!!!!!!

  • What I liked about this production was that it was set in Colonial America. Thus the 1770's costumes. The last ensemble in this clip has remained in my mind for twenty years (has it been THAT long?) because of Pav's voice, Levine's tempi, and the 'joie de vivre' exhibited here and elsewhere in the video. The anacronism of having an 'African-American' in the role as a director's 'statement' I cannot comment on, but if it was a conscious theatrical choice, at least she can sing it well!

  • @jsmoir1 I believe this production was set in Sweden like Verdi had originally intended.

  • Increíble !! soy gran admiradora de Pavarotti... y el rol de oscar me encantó.

  • I'd have to say that the only one I prefer over this is Reri Grist, but other than that this is fantastic. She's adorable! I think that's one of requirements of Oscar. You have to be a little boy who is just so excited over all of this. She pulls this off brilliantly.

  • La dizione, la dizione....puoi avere la voce più bella che vuoi ma con quella dizioni verrai sempre screditata...è pessima!

  • The two best versions of this I have ever heard

was with Gigli Circa 1935 and this one with

Pavarotti. Harolyn just rocks in the role of Oscar

plus Sumi Jo tends to go too slow in the role of

Oscar, This version shows the Spontaneity that

it deserves, it just bounces along and shows pop to the piece Bravo Harolyn and Luciano!!!

  • @MAR3668 mmmh I like Sumi Jo very much as well!

  • Harolyn is the best Oscar I've heard! An absolute delight.

  • What a wonderful Oscar !!

  • @larissamontero why did someone boo your comment? I like Sumi Jo as well, both are very funny "little boys".

  • BY FAR THE BEST RENDITION OF THIS ARIA IN EXISTENCE.

    BEST OSCAR EVER!!

    Viva la Harolyn!

  • I'd say Battles' rendition is FAR MUCH BETTER!

  • of course, typical comparison of black singers, just because they're black =/

  • Dizione più che pessima direi! Concordo però che la voce è molto bella!
