You both are correct in ways, yes you need to believe that Jesus saved you and loves you but you also have to make it a point to be more than a Christian. You must be a FOLLOWER. That means you have to try to grow in Christ and not fall in to sin. Of course we mess up sometimes but thats why Jesus died for us in the first place. We have grace. @WhyteFreak Christianity is a relationship, not just with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but also with other members of the body. If one piece of the body starts ailing then the body does not work right. The verses about Christians not judging other Christians is Matthew 7:3-5. Please note that at the end of those verses it says plainly that if you have removed your problem, then you can go to another and help him with his. You can't do that without saying to that person "You're messing up".

@improfessoradam You have a very confused view of God. God didn't "create" suffering. Humanity did when we chose to take on a sinful nature, and our suffering is a result of our sin. Don't be mad at God; be mad at humanity, because we cause our own suffering. But actually, not all suffering has to be a bad thing. God says that through suffering and trials, a Christian's faith is "proved genuine" and Christians are perfected by it. So suffering can have a positive outcome.

You both are correct in ways, yes you need to believe that Jesus saved you and loves you but you also have to make it a point to be more than a Christian. You must be a FOLLOWER. That means you have to try to grow in Christ and not fall in to sin. Of course we mess up sometimes but thats why Jesus died for us in the first place. We have grace. But you can't just say you're saved and go on a sinful lifestyle, because thats not how God wants you to live. Much love :)

@Creepythings1234 hey, if you're prayer is sincere and genuine, God will answer. Not always will you "feel" his presence physically though. I recommend reading the bible frequently, start with the gospels, than the book of acts, and work your way through the new testament first, so you will later understand the old one properly as well. Also, you should get baptised (it's the historical and authentic way of becoming a christian. "Asking Jesus into your heart" was started recently by tv preachers

If one piece of the body starts ailing then the body does not work right. The verses about Christians not judging other Christians is Matthew 7:3-5. Please note that at the end of those verses it says plainly that if you have removed your problem, then you can go to another and help him with his. You can't do that without saying to that person "You're messing up".

Yes, you are correct, Christianity is about having a personal relationship with your savior, not about preaching the Bible and making it your agenda to get people to believe in it too. However, many Christians are very quick to point the finger and exploit faults in others, claiming their behavior is 'wrong' or 'unethical'. Here it goes: A person can't just do whatever and still be granted entrance into heaven. A person has a will after they're saved and, therefore, can choose to walk away from Him. @improfessoradam You have a very confused view of God. God didn't "create" suffering. Humanity did when we chose to take on a sinful nature, and our suffering is a result of our sin. Don't be mad at God; be mad at humanity, because we cause our own suffering. But actually, not all suffering has to be a bad thing. God says that through suffering and trials, a Christian's faith is "proved genuine" and Christians are perfected by it. So suffering can have a positive outcome.

Some people aren't gonna like this, but this conversion story is FAKE. When The Lord Jesus Christ forgives you and fills you will his precious holy spirit of life, you change! However, if you're not willing to give up EVERYTHING and leave the world behind you CANNOT follow Christ. What this man and Brian have is a plastic gospel. It sounds good on the surface, but in reality it isn't gonna save you.
