but did you see jealousy in the eyes of the ones you had to leave behind... and the titles London. This is pure genious! The words in this song are absolutely true to the bone, amazing, leaving provincial England to live in the city of refuge and I'm really talking about zones one and two. No wonder Quentin Crisp left and found acceptance and joy in New York.

I know, its just I was watching some Quentin Crisp stuff and it was fresh in my mind. Also, the video made me think of general English dissatisfaction with London, the provinces and got me to thinking that a lot of my own personal heroes, Quentin Crisp for example had to find some kind of better happiness abroad. I guess like Morrissey in a sort of different maybe similar way, don't know.
