I think every sim (blank and elf too) main can make these types of videos. Most sims just spam normals. Yes really good players can beat a so so Sim. But perception wise.. If a person wins 75% of their matches vs shotos and 25% vs Dhalsim, they are gonna blame Sim and not their skill.. arguing that they are a scrub because of that 25% may be valid.. but you are never gonna convince that player.

Sim isnt cheap, just rarely encountered, as such its difficult to get used to fighting him.

On the other hand, Ryu is massively popular so you get very familiar with his attacks and how to counter them. You have to be a damn good Ryu player to get good rank.

I just started using Sim as a secondary and I think he's the most fun I've had in a long time. But other players get annoyed becuz sim doesnt really revolve around combo's so they have 2 do something they arent used 2. Something that goes against the ethics of a noob, something that doesnt involve spamming, random attacks or tick throws.....they have 2 think of tactics. Thats why theyre hating, cuz they just want 2 jump in and do a combo or a throw.
