  • hey I JUST got my GT-10 today, and I'm dying do get a Bass guitar simulation on my board. My Digitech RP 355 had a bass guitar preset. I can;t seem to find it on my GT-10.

    please help.

  • Can I have settings too ;DDDD Thanks! Great tone and video

  • Hey, could you, or anyone for that matter, explain how to do those fast hammer ons and pull-offs from :18 - :20? Do you just use the Aeolian mode?

I'd appreciate help SO much. Thanks!

  • @BDagys

Man, I have no clue what mode that is...never learned theory. All I can say is that the technique is called legato.

  • Very nice, sounds similar to Satriani. I've been playing the gt 10 since last summer and man its very durable and very very ahead of its game as far as overall performance goes. It's running everything out at 24bit with the cosm engine so you pretty much can say goodbye to tubes unless your like my 53 yrold uncle who just has to have the fender tube ministack. lol

  • nice jam =)

  • Sky, can i attach a bass guitar to a BOSS GT 10 ? other issue: Can you make a boost distortion test on Boss Gt 10, play same GOREFEST or Six Feet Under. ok?

  • Hey, nice playing! I have a little question about Crate Powerblock - would you recommend this amp? I'm looking for amp which will make my distortion and overdrive sounds a little more 'organic/fat' (but still will be quite transparent).

  • Oh, sorry for spam, I forgot to mention that I also have boss gt-10*

  • I bypass the powerblock's preamp and plug my Boss GT-10 into the FX return of the powerblock. That way, it is very transparent and not fat at all.

If you plug your effects up front, you may be able to get a fatter tone.

  • @skysurf51 Ok, thanks :)

  • wau!! great demostration!!

  • is the drums from the gt-10 ?

  • No, I used a drum machine (Boss Dr-3).

  • watch?v=mwd_-Xds3_s

    I hope that like

  • I like my GT10's distortions, but for hi-gain amp sims, the X3 live might be better. For everything else, I'd recommend the GT-10.

That being said, I'd recommend the Digitech rp-500 or rp-1000 over the X3 live.

  • Thank you so much!

  • @skysurf51 That sounded plenty gainfull enough to me :)

  • Very nice lead sound! I'm thinking about a pedal board to buy, but i can't decide between a Boss GT-10 or a Line6 x3 live... What do you think about it?

  • Nice.

  • very nice solo!!!!!!!!

  • awesome! 5 stars

i also own a boss gt-10 but I cant get good distorsion quality when i record it, it sounds very distorted and 'creamy', any advices?

  • What recording method do you use? Direct, or through an amp and cab?

I can show you the settings I used in this vid if you want. Let me know.

  • can i possibly get the settings for the gt-10 for this distortion or any good distortion u have cause i seem to not have any i like so far? by the way nice playing

  • Hi what are the settings for amp&cab? Thanks:D

  • When you describe it as creamy, that sounds like a smooth sound, not a distorted sound, I think. Maybe you mean noisy or buzzy? Try the 2 noise reductions, roll back the presence, and try a different EQ curve.
