  • @d00m1n1k1 rev counter is from petrol car. Rev limit on a D5252T is 4500rpm.

  • No, this is diesel. Just listen to the sound of the engine. Only rev counter is from petrol car.

  • 8s to 100 nice. how much hp with ECU remap?

  • @michal1161 Not sure. Should be around 170hp and 350Nm.

  • @fatmann86 could you do a another video with this chip ? maybe 60 -180?

  • @michal1161 I've sold this car to a friend. Acceleration is very strong till about 170kph, max speed - 200kph (max revs)

  • @michal1161 I got a standard S70 TDI (MSA17,5) with manual gearbox, and my current sprint from 0 till 100 is going in 9-9,5s , nothing in the car has been change byside that katalizator has been cut off.

I am looking forward to have it updated with RICA program. Currently engine is on Castrol Edge 05W40 and has 316,500km. :)

    See you around.

  • @lysy20065 gratuluję rodakowi ;) jesteś z vf?

  • a diesel that goes upto 8000 rpm wish i had one...

  • @jamie211983 haha, this diesel goes up to 5000rpm, i have same engine in s80

  • @gargamel11 you just dont get it do you look at the tacho and the video title twat..

  • thats not good for the turbine..... i mean max acceleration on the cold engine.

beside that i think thats a good acceleration for 2.5tdi.

how did you manage to cut the cat without "check engine" and car going to safe mode?

plz use reply to answer my question so i will be noticed about it. thx

  • Cold engine? Really? :) The video was taken on a chilly day (-7 C), after driving for 30km and then coasting to a halt from ~120km/h. Thats why engine temperature dropped a few notches.

And yes, IMHO that's very good acceleration from R5 TDI with auto box.

There was no rear O2 (lambda) sensor in my car, so no problems without cat. ECU doesn't have a clue taht the catalyst is missing.

  • Nice, that petrol tach in your diesel car!! ;)
