@link212112 That means you haven't installed the driver. Make sure the controller is plugged in and turned on, then click load to install the driver. If your pc is 64 bit you have to disable the driver signature enforcement as show in the video, then load the driver. After the driver is installed you won't have to disable it anymore.

Its just letting you know there is an update available, you can turn off update notifications in the ds3 tool. I don't know if there is local mode in the newest version and don't care since this version has everything I need so far and the 0.6.003 doesn't.

2nd part to my post ,Once the vibration works enable again then start up your game like Fifa 12 you will automatically see that it works when the language option comes up and you can move with your anologs.

games like COD won't work with an xbox controller so won't work with ps3 controller. games like NBA,Rugby Need for speed and all those type of games that work with an xbox controller will work if you do what i tell you.

you will see 4 or 5 options,Playstation 3,xbox ,ps2 etc for buttons to click. click the xbox button,press enable once its done installing test your vibration.

@AdmiralSkippy. Make sure the driver is downloaded. You can check by clicking the "About" tab in the ds3 tool. Also make sure before you click xbox 360 it says six axis in the "connected controllers". When you click properties in the ds3 tool, it should show "xbox360 controller" not motioninjoy controller, even though its a ps3 controller. Every button and joystick should work. Also you don't have to hold f8 during boot if your 32 bit or after the driver is installed for 64 bit.

chrisblows...don't reboot just close it down in the system tray in the bottom righr of the desktop, then reopen. are you hooked up with usb or bluetooth? you could have a bad usb cable, I've gone through alot of them and finally went bluetooth. If usb loosen's, it will disconnect. If you click the x on the program to close it, its still running down in the system tray and needs to be closed as well

Also you do not need to now for 6.0.0.3 disable driver signiture enforcement for 64 bit because that version has got the microsoft signiture so it mean it is endorsed software.

@Xicarah So when you click the about tab, it says version 60001 driver 60003? When you completly erase motionjoy and all of it's content off the hard drive (not just the shortcut on your desk top, but in local disc c/ program files) you should be able to start over and download 60001 and when you click "load" it will load 60001 driver. You might have to go in local disk c/drivers and delete motionjoy but I dought it. Now I got all these replies claiming motionjoy website has beem shut down,

@Xicarah. When you click the "About" tab, does it show both the version and driver as 60001? Also, when you downloaded 60001, did you download the version that runs on your operating system (32 bit or 64 bit)?  Also, you downloaded the local folder and placed in in the ds3 folder or was it already in there? Definetly check the about tab to check the version and make sure to download all 3 files but only opening the first one. You might want to erase and start from the top.

@Xicarah Local mode will work just like I demonstrated. Make sure you have 060001 version, check by clicking the "about" tab. It doesn't seem like you watch all the way through, this is a six axis tutorial not xbox and you have to choose the type of controller layout every time you want to use it.

And I did follow your directions, I did erase 60003 and downloaded 60001, there are 2 folders in my ds3 file Local and drivers, I restarted it, and came back both offline and online, and it still won't pull up the local section.

@Xicarah Local mode doesn't for 60003. You have to delete motion joy completely since you can't downgrade to an older version. Sounds easy but it can be difficult, make sure to uncheck auto run like I demonstrated or it'll say can not delete because the program is running. Download 60001, load the driver and then add the missing files.

If driver says 0, than you didn't load the driver right. Make sure your controller is awake and flashing when you click load driver. @lbpfan45... if it's asking you to find a program to run the file on the internet then you either didn't download winrar or once you downloaded winrar you didn't open winrar and let it make the changes to your computer. You probely choosed a program to open the file and now its always going to try to use it unless you right click the file and change "open with" to winrar.  In the ds3 tool go into "about" and make sure both version and driver match. If you click local tab and it doesn't work t

Yes this will work with out an internet connection but you have to use local mode which is why I made this video because when I'd take my laptop on a road trip, the controller wouldn't work because there was no internet. I posted links for everything in the description. You have to follow the instructions or local mode doesn't work thanks to motionjoy screwing up.

@daredeviluae...Even though it's a ps3 contoller, you have to check xbox 360, then click enable everytime your computer is restarted and you want to use the controller. Turns out you don't have to disable driver signature enforcement everytime but it doesn't hurt. In the ds3 tool it should say six axis listed in the "connected game controller" list. Let me know if you still have problems.

Also, you have to open winrar after you downloaded it and let it run and make the changes to your computer. In the DS3 tool go into "about" and make sure both the tool & the driver are version 0.6.0001. You can always delete motionjoy & start over, you can redo this entire installment in minutes, keep winrar though. Let me know

I'm using windows 7 64bit too. That's what happens when you don't download all 3 parts or delete the local folder out of the ds3 folder, then drag it in there again. I drag the local folder into the ds3 folder because exacting was giving me problems even though it's doing the same thing. You'll get it.

Excuse me, I have a problem.

Whenever I try to extract the local folder into the DS3 folder, winRAR gives me a crap ton of error messages and it dosen't work. Please help. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64x.
