  • The only thing I can think of that's as good as this song is a great slice of pizza.

    Oh, I see now.

  • The best Ellington piece ever. If he'd ever finished the opera of which this song was to be a part, I think it would still be blowing minds to this very day.

  • This sound so ahead of its time

  • 1 person prefers cheese.

  • that pizza looks really good

  • the only thing i cared about this video was the pizza

  • What kinda mute is on that trombone?

  • @sethmoyer Plunger mute

  • what a tune! sublime

  • Man it's good!!!

  • Alain Pailler, a french writer, just finished a book only about this major song. I just finished it, that's a good one (if you can read french).

  • why the pizza? BECAUSE PIZZA RULE OUR WORLD LIKE DUKE!!

  • the trumpet sounds like "ya -ya - ya-ya!" lmao

  • @vdiglio Its a trombone :D

  • @vdiglio it's a trombone with mute

  • @jamesmustafamusic my bad

  • yo it sucks

  • @smellycheeseboy12 shut it cheeseboy

  • why the pizza?

  • 1:47 :D

  • is it digorno or delivery?

  • listening to this made me hungry. nom nom.

  • Koko (1940) requires more than one listening. The bass is playd by the legendary Jimmie Blanton, the baritone sax by Harry Carney, the greatest bari player, the trombone solo by Tricky Sam Nanton, the man who could 'speak' through his 'bone, the piano by Duke, who laid down a solo - nearly 70 years ago - that was completely unheard of in 1940. But the most intriguing and exciting is the magical 'together' way the band plays the fantastic arrangement, which may have been intended as dance music.

  • why pizza man? not cool.

  • @BobOxsen gonna cry?

  • blast it is right love that bass and all those plungers wayyy to much omfg I can smell that pizza slice <3

  • Don't like the pizza tho... but Duke is THE DUKE!

I'll never stop admiring this amazing piece of art.

  • PIZZA????!!

  • i love this very much

  • This is one of the most fantastic pieces of music EVER written and, here, played. Sublime..pure genius... So good, so moving, such an attack that it DISTURBS some people...I know. I've seen 'em look when I blast it on my car CD player.

  • Agreed. I LOVE blasting this tune.

It's a life changing tune really.

  • the video is the coldest thing i ever saw.

  • goes together like weed and hookers.

  • mmmm.... pizza.... eh? Duke Ellington? Oh, right, that was good.
