  • The bass is the best part of this song, imo. Since I can't adjust the bass on YouTube, I am thankful you uploaded this. :-)

  • you got distracted @3:18, also.. are you jeff ament???!

  • Yayyy Finally someone else Who "Slides" during the Verse...as I DO! ;)...

  • @ManOfOZ2011 Yeah, that's something few people notice or even like, but is there in the original bass track. It looks like this video got some negative votes because of this.

  • if you have a fretless bass, then is the only difference that you have to remember where the frets are? or should be? x

  • @ginjaninja782 On a fretless bass you need to hit the neck at exactly the position where a fret normally is to avoid getting a false note, while on a normal (fretted) bass you need to hit the neck just next to the fret with some room for error. So playing a fretless is generally harder, but does allow you to smoothly change the pitch of a note by sliding across the neck, while on a normal bass the pitch changes in steps. Often, the fret positions are still marked on a fretless.

  • frets?

    lmao

  • @86108610 I'm interpreting this as: does your bass guitar have frets? Answer is yes, it does. The original by Jeff Ament was played on a fretless, though.

  • Awesome cover and a beautiful guitar.
