Don't forget the story to this game, it is a future where corporations have their own private armies. The media is controlled by their influence, all attacks against corporations are reported as the results of terrorism The general population is exploited, paid low wages and made to do work that is dangerous and unhealthy. The Silencer story is vague, but he has had his tongue cut out according to some of the in-game commentary, thus he is no threat if he is actually captured and tortured.

@Solmachins With the average luck of any gamer, a movie would be produced by Uwe Boll and it'd suck. Now if Michael Bay did it and adhered to the source material, which was really just explosions and shooting anyone and everyone in wonderfully violent ways, something Michael Bay already does, then the movie could be great. Of course there's the story itself, but the story in the games were sparse enough to where it seemed more like a distraction when compared to blowing all who surrendered up.

The only game that comes within just the slightest resemblance to Crusader's atmosphere is Mass Effect (and it's just the soundtrack that does it, not the actual game itself).

what happened to kickass games with kickass soundtracks about the future world? Everything's grey marines now.

I have copies of the .mod files from both games. You need a mod player to listen to them, but they can be looped till you get tired of listening (which won;t happen)

Incredible game and wonderful soundtrack! It remebers me old good times when games where not only the simple product but they had soul... And I'd like to add that this game is fully playable under todays computers ( I'd not know what about 64bit systems ) and XP system. Just run it under DosBox (i use 0.72) and everything (sound,mouse etc) works great! Don't be afraid to come back to the golden era of computer games! ;)

I play it under c2d 1,73,1gb ddr,xp pro sp3,radeon 200m and no problems so enjoy! If you have any problems ,don't hesitate to ask.

hi you say it works with dosbox. I have dosbox but no clue how it works :) Loved the game back then and still do.

Hi,

What problems do you have? First,you have to install game in one directory ie "D:\noregret".

Then you run dosbox and type "mount d: d:\noregret". After you do this,type "d:". And now you're in directory. Type "dir" to check if you are in the main directory. You should see i.e "regret.exe" ,"install.exe" and other files. Type "install " to enter the setup and configure the sound ( everything should be played - sound as well as music.

After this type in dosbox "regret" and it should work.

So the only difference ( that's important if you want to run this game) between the real dos and dosbox is that you have to mount your catalg with "mount" . Most commnon instructions like "cd,dir,cls,del etc" work as under real dos. And make sure you play this game with all videos and music cause it makes the whole atmosphere :) And you may need to create in your directory ,subdirectory called "SAVEGAME" (only if game crashes if you try to save it).
