I have been imagining my dream man and a future life with him every night before I sleep for the past two years without even knowing about the abraham teachings. I am only 21 but I am wondering why I have not yet found him? Do I need to close the gap of my vibrations before I even think about finding a man?

This statement was so true for me...i had spent so many years beating the drum about the things i didnt want and got more of the same. After listening to Abraham i started to speak to the universe only that which i wanted and within weeks without me physically looking for him, he showed in my life with all the qualities i spoke about, desired, and wanted and then some..OMG this has been a long time coming. As far as "happy and loving people," as always, it's "birds of a feather." Common sense: If you want better or different than what you have, you have to be better or different. Negative, pessimistic people attract others just like them. Hope this helps...

It seems to me to be obvious why you would block skeptical comments. I would not want to sit and read loads of negative stuff about myself. It is not something that I would need to read or have in my reality... why are they any different? Would you?

Here is another thought though, whilst we woud all choose to move beyond bad stuff and negative comments and CAN choose to, it is those contrasting 'negative' experiences that make us bigger and stronger. It is just that they are not afraid of the criticism or the contrast or negativity and choose then to move beyond it. We all can do this. It takes courage but we can do it. x

I think Abraham Hicks is an impostor. I was told to watch one of her interviews without any preconceptions, and I did so from start to finish. Abraham's interview, prevalently soliloquist, is quite intriguing and well-articulated. The reason I think this is fraud is a) the essence of the teaching is how to acquire; nothing more, and b) the whole 'channeling' gimmick is absurd. I want people to feel happy, but I don't want them to be taken advantage of by remarkable actors like these.

I don't know how you know this chunkybongo, but if they do block skeptical comments I don't agree with that. However, I understand it. I don't necessarily believe in everything they say, but I'm so thankful for the joy it has brought my parents and other people I have heard comment on their tapes. I just hope the information and knowledge I have obtained from them eventually helps make me feel better. Actually, listening to a few of these clips made me feel better than I have in a while.

@foxman691 - Imagine her as being disfigured and then ask yourself if you feel the same. It is a quick way to find out what you really feel. Many people "fall in love" with "beauty" but often forget that there is a person inside that "shell." Imagine she is disfigured and then go off on your own and really think about her personality. If she is still attractive, then you may want to focus on having someone with the qualities you desire but YOU have to be a match for those qualities too.

out-thought what is happening?? I like that. I do follow these Abraham teachings but I do know that we C0-create our lives with God. Thus, the soul knows when it's time is done. Certainly there are studies relating the body/mind connection with sickness. In the end, I bet we all find out that we are accountable for everything in our own current.
