Yes, they fly like field points, especially if your bow is tuned. You can sharpen them with a pull-type sharpener, you know the metal "V" that you pull in one direction over the blade. Thanks!
im getting a hoyt maxxis here soon and going to hunt with it late archery and next year.. im pullin back 50lb do you think these magnus stinger buzzcuts would be good for me?
I got the Z7 last year and i shot the rages and buzzcuts out of it and in a deer. The rages are great because of there accuracy and their great blood trails but if you have to shoot a deer standing at an angle, your gonna want to go with the buzzcuts. They have great penatration through bones.
you have the best self film videos ive ever seen..i thinking about getting these broadheads this year,do you get good blood trails? and i was looking and they have the buzzcuts and the stingers 4 blades, the stingers are 5 dollars cheaper, should i spend the extra 5 bucks and get the buzzcuts or do you think the stingers are just as good?
Great bloodtrails! The stingers and buzzcuts are really similar, you can re-sharpen the stingers a little easier. Buzzcuts may do a little more wound damage with the serrated blades. It's up to you I think you'd like either one...
Big bodied deer man. Nice kill. I just recently got a bow and am looking forward to hunting soon. I killed a big 11 point scored 168 last thanksgiving. Whereabouts are ya hunting? Im in KY
Nice shot on the deer, just asking what was the yadage on that seemed about 25 yars away.ohh yeah :u Have the best self filmed hunts i have ever seen.i cant wait to see what u come up with on the upcoming season.
still trying to decide if i want to use the 4 blade buzz cut season. got one with the 2 blade buzz last this past season and the blood trails wasnt good and the shot was real good taking out the lung and heart and the buzzcut blew through its lower leg. but he only went 60 yds before he stoped to looks around. then did a little dance and dropped dead. tip curled also on the buzz. but i love the flight and sharpness and the penetration with them is unreal.
I bought the buzzcuts because Uncle Ted spoke highly of them. Unfortunately I didn't get to release an arrow on a deer yet. They sure do fly nicely at my target though. Nice kill shot man! 5 Stars.
Nice, I dig it! I'm in the Marine Corps so my hunting days are pretty much finished. I'm a firm believer in the Stinger Buzzcuts. My hoyt has put many a deer down with those damn things. Massive blood loss if you have good shot placement and "quarter" properly. My secong fav or the RAGE.
I would have expected more blood splurging from the entrance wound with such a perfect shot placement. I saw a drop of blood where you retrieved the arrow- was there much of a blood trail between there and the downed buck? shoulda been a river-
BEAUTIFUL
