  • @cpv656

  • how fast was that going

  • LOL thats the only enemy, the americans cant against with war! LOL! go for it!

  • no its not fake, i watched a live feed of it early this morning. Have some repsct for the dead!

  • ITS FAKE!!! All CGI.

  • @sydonabike Dude. Don't underestimate the force of a tornado.

  • @echtnikskan

Oh I just said that because someone had to.

  • @sydonabike Troll ;p

  • There is a reason living in the Gulf Coast States are so cheap. Much like motorcycle insurance .. your not expected to survive (laughs). The fun of rebuilding your home every 5-10 years. Not finding any insurance providers of flood or tornado casuality coverage. No wonder Southern politicans are fucking nut jobs. I hope FEMA has a few nickles left from the GWB years but with the Repubs in charge of those purse strings I highly doubt it. Good luck folks. Your gonna need it.

  • @MichaelPAUSA Just SOUTHERN politicians, of course...

  • löl_ÀÑY_gûÿs_wÃÑt_tÔ_chât_wÌth_mE

  • hey humans...one tip for you

you can't fuck with the nature

    cheers.

  • Are adults putting these posts up,because if adults are communicating this way it is really sad.Try not to take things so personally, there just tornadoes, take it easy

  • Yeah nothing earth-shattering here. Tornado DID

indeed have a strong vertical component to the

    wind.

  • shit!!!

  • HAHA AWSOME!!!!!

  • @mixboy32 Yeah it's funny...until it happens to YOUR car.

  • @TheTallMan35 who said anything about funny you moron?

i said it looks awsome..not that its funny..

  • @mixboy32 Check your comment a little closer kind sir. You'll see the letters "HAHA" in the beginning. Correct me if I am wrong but when a person uses this expression, it typically means that he finds something funny. If I misinterpreted your comment, please accept my apology....moron.

  • @TheTallMan35 ok you retard let me explaine the "HAHA" a little more..

haha isnt always about laughing it can also mean that the person is amaezd or surprised you ass-face..so dont even try to reply to me again because you will turn out a bigger dumbass than you are right now!

  • @mixboy32 HAHA!!

  • @TheTallMan35 oh yea..HAHA!

  • Those cars got fucked

  • Those cars got OWNED!

  • My friend used to work at S&M,Thats a cool shot of the cars getting tossed!Lucky noone was in them!

  • VROOOOM!

  • wooooooooow:O

  • I remember that day. This is about a couple minutes from my house. lol

  • "caught on tape by S&M equipment company"

    .... What?

  • @PressA2Die

Yeah I know....had to take a pic of a dump truck beside me at a red light.

  • @PressA2Die

We also have "Creye-leike" reality. ....i guess the decline in housing has them ..crying like babies.

  • the camera was to blurry to actually c it

  • Hope those people had Tornado insurance on their cars

  • If you use Geico, you can save up to 15% or more on Tornado coverage on your car!

  • @teto1957 I thought insurance is insurance doesn't matter what disaster it is....didn't know there was special insurance for tornado? hmm

  • Comment removed

  • Every time it rains more people die in Bangladesh.

  • wow

  • That might have turned into a EF2, but when it hit the cars it was not. A EF1 can certainly pick up cars just like that.

An EF2 would have been a little more distinctive. Now I'm not saying it didn't turn into one, but at the time it hit those cars there is no way.

  • More bad mortgages to be paid by the government to the banks..., home owner, homeless.

  • it's lucky that the tornado didn't caught the camera.

  • thats my news station

  • Actually, the new advice is to try to drive at right angles to the tornado's path, if you can discern it. You can outrun most tornadoes in a car if you're not blocked by city traffic, morons under overpasses, etc.

  • Yeah, I was in the middle of this storm...My grandfather-in-laws house got completely torn in 1/2 by this same tornado.....It was just amazing....

  • seeing those cars getting flipped really hits you hard (instead of just seeing the aftereffects of a tornado!!

  • that has to be the fastest moving tornado I have ever seen!

  • OMG that tornado flipped those cars over like they were little toys. And it looked so small though. But the cars right next to them were just fine. That's crazy!

  • the 2 cars smashing looks funny...

  • AMAZING VIDEO.....I want to see a tornado sooooo bad!!!

  • I got sucked up in a tornado this one time it picked me up like 200 feet up then i saw a car pass me i managed to open the door and get in the car and the tornado dropped me at an angle in the car on a hill to wear it was a really soft landing.

  • Wow you have a really good imagination, amazing!

  • I live in Bham, most of the tornadoes stay away from the city limits for some reason, but I always feel bad for the rural folks who always seem to get hit by these things, I grew up in Hueytown, where the most devastating tornado in Alabama history happened, I cant even recognize some of thse areas now that I grew up in, its strange

  • Those tonados are extremely amazing but horrible things...you must get a sinking feeling when the weatherman mentions possible tornados...here in Australia not many people die from them because they happen where nobody lives

  • they should put a "caution! tornadoes crossing. park at own risk" sign.

  • S&M Equipment Company? What do they sell? Whips, chains, and leather catsuits?

  • dude, that's not fucking funny, infact, its offensive and wrong, clean your fucking mind.

  • What are you? A monkey-evolved liberal tree-hugging dickless hippie douchebag?

  • I did evolve from monkeys just like you, I do have a dick, I have never hugged a tree and I am niether a hippie or a douchebag, but thanks for playing. Next?

  • Comment removed

  • Get a sense of humor. Good grief.

  • I love how that guy dropped the f bomb twice while talking about offensive. A bit hypocritical, eh?

  • I know. What a nudnick.

  • HA! nudnick!...nudnick, great word, can I use that?

    lmao...nudnick hahahahaha

  • ROFL! it is too funny!!!!

  • thats a pissed off tornado...

  • my car was in tha parking lot

  • I live just a mile down the road....Wild storm

  • wow dan......... way to act like people have a chance. haha

  • this is one of the best videos I have seen in a long while. You rarely see a tornado lifting up cars on video that up close.

  • crap i remember this we got put out in the hall it was shit i hated it i go to rogersville well lchs

  • i live in moody and i remeber sitting in the halls too and we stayed till like 5:00 in the hallways :(

  • goodness. i live in florence and i go to florenc high school and i remember sitting out in the hall for like an hour and half during this. i was so scared! i'm glad nobody was hurt. i was in probably on of the most unsafest areas of my school. this is just another reason tornadoes should NOT be taken lightly!

  • Liked the weather guy's warning "I'll grab something and hold on", this vid should warn against that. I'm surprised there isn't more of these spycam type vids of tornados. Obviously the corporate owners of the cams don't want to share... This almost looked like microvortex type action; the very small localized structures within the 'tornado'. Appears like the two cars were smashed together in mid-air, while the trog was flipped over like a drunken Marine. I'd like to see the other 'top 5'...

  • oh shit that was to where live in rogersville it not far man it was f2 damn we sat in hall for a long time

  • That is true. The downside to the Fujita scale is that is can only be used if damage has occurred. There have probably been many F6 tornados based on winds, but there has yet to be one that caused F6 damage.

  • aww shit that was just the other day, we got sent out in the hallway...damn

  • look I am 1 second away from just reporting

you and having you removed. There are kids

that use this site, and people that wish to be nice. If I hear on ounce of bad mouth from you I will not rest till you are removed.

  • Did they speed it up? The tornado itself seems soooo fast!

  • Heh, the meteorologist said "the winds would be 6 times stonger" if it were a F4 class tornado. Hm... 600-750mph then? I've heard of exagurating, but jeez. F4's peak at around 250mph.

  • Strength of the wind is proportional to the cube of wind speed. Therefore doubling the wind speed will increase the force of the wind up to 8 times.

  • The only funny thing about this video is the name of the business -- S&M Equipment! LOL!!

  • i woulda been pissed if that was my car

  • Damn good evidence to proove an insurance claim though!

  • this is scary

  • when was the tornado?

  • Thursday

  • LAST WEEK

  • this was the station that got the footage from the security camera. this was the first time it ran on tv

  • It was a fairly small tornado. An EF1. maybe. But they all move at least that fast. Estimated speed was about 50 mph.

And Areslusitanii, since you don't have tornadoes where you live, let me recommend you find out before you post. In rolling terrain, such as here in AL, you often CAN'T see them from a distance, they are wrapped in rain, or can spin up in a split second. There's no way to predict when one will touch down or how long it will be on the ground. Take cover, hope for the best.

  • * ESTIMATED PEAK WIND: 125.0 MPH

    * PRELIMINARY RATING: EF-2

    checkout the report (click more)

  • they dont always move fast.

  • It tossed them aside like they were a bunch of Hothweels, lol.

  • The thing about tornados is that you don't really know where there going to hit and u don't have a real warning. Some hit in the middle of the night when u sleep and when u wake up ur in ur next door neighbors tree or dead. The best thing you could do is go to the basement or storm celler

  • Areslusitanii The tornado can change directions too. No one wants to be under a tornado, and when you can see it sometimes you can't outrun the tornado.

  • To be more exact, you can never outrun a tornado, and it's advised you don't try to outrun it in your car either...

  • please give me 4 better tornado vids than this

  • Its in the top 5 cause it is so close and you can see the cars and debris getting sucked in. That is very rare to see. Usually tornado videos are so far off you just see little specs getting sucked in.

  • daaaang

  • my uncle works there and he saw it (the cars werent his though)

  • Welp we are tonka toys to tornados!! Nasty stuff!! Hope ya packed some TP!!

  • yeah i live in moulton about 20 miles away from there and i thought this was a tornado from thursday cause all the school let out that day and nothing really happend friday as in storms

  • I'm moving to north Texas in a few days. This freaks me out.

  • i live in alabama i never have tornado

  • nature is awsome!

  • lol "S&M equipment company" ?

  • That thing is movin....real fast...I wanna go FAST!!!!!!!

  • I'm in TX but from Hatton, AL ...saw this first on cnn headline news. This is amazing!!! Thanks for the post!!

  • the tornado flip over this awsome video thanks for sending it

  • fake.....no just kidding, dont you hate those people who feel the need to cover the asses by saying fake just incase it is fake they can say to themselfs i knew it was fake. i want to punch those people.

  • S&M equipment Co. Hehe.

  • hahhahahhaaah

  • that looked like a small tornado.

  • Very scary.

  • that tornado just flip the cars over man good thing the cameras on why did the tornado move so fast

  • lol...TOYS!!!!!

  • Everyone says were destroying earth, but I'm pretty sure earth could take itself back if it wanted to.

  • thats just crazy. but really cool

  • btw, don't even bother posting spam, i will delete it promptly

  • that is NOT 100 MPH wind -- more like 150

  • FUCKING AWESOME force of nature.

  • only on 19

  • Wow. very rare footah=ge - seeing cars sucked in like that

  • S&M equipment? haha. I'll take a whip please.

  • dang good footage

  • I think it's funny that the tornado tosses cars "like toys" at "S&M" equipment company.

  • Who needs special effects when you got this

  • Esa terrible y la vez hermosa naturaleza ^^

  • Also, I wonder what the forward speed was....

  • I was thinking the exact same thing. I've never seen a video just like this either. Exceptional.

  • That's about 3 minutes from my house. lol

  • it an f2 tornado

  • HOLY SHIT !!!! That was incredible

  • Mothra attacks Florence?

  • wow that white jeep right beside it didn't even move

  • Amazing video, I really didn't know it was like that.

The tornado picked those cars up, and tossed them around as if they were DRIED LEAVES.

  • I added the official nws survey, click (More info) in the right side.

  • incredible

  • Now throw a person near the car and you have SUPERMAN

  • More like frog in a blender

  • wicked

  • Good god. S&M sure took a whippin'.

  • At first I was like, only someone smoking pot (or maybe crack) would think that they could hold onto something in a tornado. Then I remembered--they probably got that idea from the end of Twister. :-(((

Movies can corrupt *as well as* educate.

    Peace

  • True dat! I can't see lashing a belt to a water well or such helping you out much in those winds..not to mention the debris! Ouch!

  • did anybody get the license plate of that tornado?

  • super man can kill that tornado

  • like a smart daddy who called his company KeKa -from names of his kids Kevin and Kathrine. Keka ! Yurk

  • "Dan, what's you reaction to this video?"

    "Waaaaaaahhhhh!!! My CAAARRRR!!!"

  • I don't know what to say. That little fucker packed a punch!

  • This company belongs to a friend of mine. The S & M stands for the original owners' last names. Also there is family who live right next door who were not hurt, and only received minimal damage, other family members received no damage. This storm was amazing...I live about 20 minutes from the location and we only received rain. Thank our lord above, no one was hurt at the plant.

  • Yes, I understand that. But you have to admit that the name is now pretty funny. They should sell leather catsuits, whips, and harnesses.

  • You know what's really amazing about this story?

That somebody would name their business, "S&M Equipment Company."

  • I saw this on our local news tonight and freaked out and I live in Oklahoma! Thanks for posting it!

  • I don't think they showed that 5 second clip enough times.

  • only on 19... and now on youtube too

  • This was recorded from the first time it was played on tv. I live in north alabama and watched it the first time it was played.

  • ONLY ON 19!!!!

    Never watch other news!

  • ooo dayum

  • Holy Sanp, I live in Alabama but I don't know where leighton is. We got the rain but not much else.

  • Leighton is in Colbert County near Muscle Shoals.

  • Nature Power!!!. -xD *Oo_oO* =^_^=

  • I live near there and drive a small japanese car.

  • TORNADOWNED!

  • It is a sample of capable that are these monstrous phenomena .. very good video!!

  • Hell yeah, Zues was pissed!!!

  • I've see a lot of tornado video - but this is one of the most interesting! Unreal!

  • Incredible! is real? yes!!!!!!!!

    see tornado in brazil

    in my you tube!!!!!!!!

  • DDAAAAAAAMMMNNNN!!!!! Thing moved through there so fast that there was a bit of a delayed action on those cars! That's one where if you see it coming at you, you only have time to to yell "S***!" before going for a wild ride!

  • I live in the UK - we don't get winds like that here thank goodness. There is a light breeze at present that will just about dry the washing.

  • scary

  • I live in Spring Valley right next to Leighton where that tornado was....just too close for my liking...

  • I remember when they first showed this footage on the air in Huntsville, it is crazy stuff when so close to home.

This area has gotten used to it tho, we're amazingly prepared and well alerted. Its like second nature now.

  • holy shit! I think I need some TP to wipe!
