  • Co-produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO..Can't you tell??

  • Free as a bird is the next best thing to be

  • John Lennon was a huge influence and inspiration to me in my teenage years, the first tune i ever played was 'i am the walrus' I even studied seargent peppers album as part of my music exams at school and even now many many years later if i hear one of their songs i get a feeling that says i've come home. I was delighted with this song as i felt it was a fitting end to the legend that they were

  • at 2:49 if you pause right there is the scariest fucking thing ever. it kinda looks like pauls head with blood on it and decapitated and shit. i wonder if it has anything to do with "paul is dead"

  • @beatlesopusnintendo Looks like a reflection of trees, but we'll never really know will we? Only the guys who made the video can answer that, and no ones come out and said it. Jeezuz... that would be a pretty grizzly thing to put in such a beautiful video, eh?

  • 2:50 !!! there's john!!!

a crowd of people stood and stared.... just like "A Day In The Life" Isn't???

3:24 the "Piggies"!!! haha... 3:53 look!!! john and yoko dancing... like in "I Me Mine"

4:31 !! father McKenzie..as he walks from the grave!!

  • o thought that was the "Nowhere man"... isn't he??

  • 3:54 "Carrying pictures of chairman Mao" as well as The Magical Mystery Tour bus (or at least the colours are a nod to it) 4:32 is Martha, the dog that the song Martha My Dear is actually about.

  • Cake in the window at 2:33 says Happy "Birthday" and 64...."When I'm 64".

  • Sign on the building at 2:15 says "Help".

  • absolutely the best band ever!

    but the world knows that.

  • and not to mention 1:35, strawberry fields forever, 2:27, the covers of the anthologys', 2:55, "he blew his mind out in a car" ( a line from "a day in the life ), 3:08, being for the benefit of mr. kite, 3:22, piggies, 3:28, paperback writer, 3:43, a blue meanie from yellow submarine, 3:50, "newspaper taxi" ( a line from "lucy in the sky with diomends), 4:19, the cover of srgnt. pepper, 4:31, elanor rigby, 4:36, the fool on the hill, 4:48 the cover of abbey road, and others.

  • next to the car is four policeman standing in a row from i am the walrus.

  • Anyone find references to songs and Beatles related with time (minute and second) : e.g. George is seen entering door of "Dr Robert" 2.43

  • this is now my favorite song

  • excellent song. Lennon's vocals are a bit odd but the video is very well put together.I love when it goes to the room with the writer and you can see john in the corner.

  • thats because lennons vocals are from an old demo of the song that yoko gave paul/ringo/george to work on. couldnt exactly rerecord could they as he was dead, they just tidied it up as much as they could

  • Beautiful song from the best band ever!!! Thank you John, Paul, George, Ringo (and George Martin) !!!!!

  • @Tradicionalist What about Billy Preston
